I don’t have the answer to the question. I just know the assholes that can’t shut up about becoming cops in the future always make shit ones. I’m living that fucking nightmare now that I’m back where I grew up.
Honestly it is a job that you got to watch out who you know and who you screwed over
Eggshells
They all can’t be commissioner gordon
The outcome of this is remarkably similar to the Waco incident back in the 90’s. Couldn’t help but wonder if they used that as a template. “Standoff? Fuck it, let’s burn him.”

It’s a shame Dorner chose to go the route he did. He could have done some important work had he not let his frustration get the better of him and tried to go all Punisher on everyone.
Honestly what did he accomplish besides killing 2 non lapd cops, a security gaurd, and the daughter of his lawyer?
Once he killed the first two malisciously his soap box became irrelevant

Not siding with Dorner, but the cops are showing their true colors, ordering the use of incendiary tear gas with shouts of “Bun that motherfucker down!”, a later radio communication calmly spoken

Male officer: (calmly) Burners deployed, we have a fire.
Female dispatch: (calmly) Copy, burners deployed, and we have a fire.

Then later in a press statement the police chief saying the fire was not intentional.

Looks like he had a legitimate case, but handled it entirely the wrong way.
Whether you agree or disagree with Dorner, this is more or less what the purpose of the second amendment looks like in action. This should technically be the moment where americans realize that fighting a tyranical organization will involve shooting people who are good but part of it. People should also ask where the line is between peaceful resolution and/or armed conflict. The funniest one comes from conspiracy as a crime; how can you organize a revolution and fully use your second amendment rights in it if is illegal to gather around to plan an illegal act? Seems that it is legal to have weapons but not to plan action.

Oh well. Dumbfuckery all around.

As long as the blue Wall of Silence exist and is treated as okay law enforcement will stay a joke.

And we really have people treating Dorner like some fucking Saint in this thread? I agree with what the man felt about the LAPD, but him killing people who had nothing to do with it pointed out he was just as fucked up as the rest. He killed people, people who had nothing to do with him and a girl who’s only sin was being the daughter of the man who fired him. That’s some straight Char Anzable killing Garma shit and just as bitchmade. Seriously saying it was karmic payback to the father and that makes it okay? I hope you never do anything that slights someone in anyway and they got retribution on you through you’re lovesd ones and get mad, becaus it was just karmic payback right?

Death comes easy, living with knowing a close one died because of the reasons behind it, would probably be worse than being the victim. Now I’m not condoning Dorner shooting where it hurts, but I can see the reasoning for him doing so.
Working in IAB is probably beyond thankless but more like an impossible job so you at least know to not go that route. But you could still learn more about how that bureau is supposed to keep the police in check, and maybe more on why its really failing and what’s holding it back.
I have always felt this way about people who want to be cops. If you want to be a cop so passionately , you’re probably going to be a very shitty one with ulterior motives.
I always had a thought of a “draft” for police, in a best case scenario. In the sense of a jury duty type situation. You get called and if you have no interest in law enforcement you are
free to go. On the other hand if you were interested you go through tests, back round checks, evaluations, etc… And the best of the best are chosen.
But there are way too many problems I’m sure, but bottom line people who are hell bent on being cops IMO hinder society’s perception of law enforcement.
Blah blah blah police is corrupt blah blah blah
Glossing over him murdering people as if he was justified in killing them.
So you want a police force against being cops and enforcing the law?
Just stupidity all around on this site
It is very difficult to become a police officer in socal nowadays. The testing process is very long and they put people through a lot of tests. The problem is people themselves can change. Whether it be good or bad is set up by their reaction to their surroundings and situations.
Too many people here don’t know shit, think the world is a utopia where people should know how others feel and care, and anarchy bullshit
The world is too full of morons and degenerates, a world without order would lead to shitty results
Black dude in that video sounded inebriated and mumbles too much. What are you thinking this dude had a point? So did that dc sniper?
Now what?
