I normally don’t post in threads like these because these tend to be quite sensational and just gets people riled up, but it is unfair that generalizations do happen like this. A lot of normal, regular chinese people would think this trucker is a complete asshole too. It doesn’t help that both countries are trying to throw shit at each other like monkeys. My brother had a funny story while he was living in China for a while and that if you try to read stories about America you have the same shit-slinging that we do to them. Some stories make it sound like we are act as Nazis as a foreign policy, with the whole war on terror crap and all. On topic though, the bystander effect has been seen all over the world and it is sad to see whenever it’s in effect.

Only reason these news are getting so much publicity is the way ppl dealt with it after the accident. If you havent been to China, I can tell you the skills it takes to drive in that country is far far superior then anything in the Western world.
