Chinese trucker hits boy.. runs over him "again" to be sure he's dead to avoid paying hospital bills

After the tragedy of Yue Yue a Chinese trucker hits a boy, then runs over him again to make sure he’s dead because it was cheaper than paying the hospital bills.

happened literally 2 weeks after the Yue Yue case.

Xiong Maoke’s mother sits beside the truck that killed her five-year-old son. The image of the child’s body has been pixelated

Coming from a Chinese man this is nothing surprising, the culture over there has a completely different view on life.

“Police said Yong, a 35-year-old lorry driver from Luxian, argued with the boy’s family about the size of the damages for seven hours.”

So their kid dies… and the first thing they think about is cashing in?

“They said his body was not removed immediately because angry villagers were demanding instant compensation from the driver.”

Again… the first thing they think about is money… Even the villagers want in on the money…

Chinese nationals. There’s nothing more that needs to be said.

well the driver at least was using his noggin

hope he keeps on truckin

 1. welcome to Earth. ANYTHING bad happens anymore, and we demand money. Burnt your mouth on a hot coffee? That’s a few million. This is what happens when the entire world is broke and the only chance at moving up in the world is if you get hit by a fucking truck

 2. welcome to Earth. I have buddies from Romania who talk about how if you hit somebody with your car you roll em into the ditch, because its less hassle than dealing with the courts and shit.

(Sigh. Having to play Devil’s Advocate so early in the morning? At this point, I’m going to have look over Chinese geography sooner than later…)

Hey, at least he was thorough unlike the last two drivers (who I am, pleasantly surprised, actually got arrested on Sunday surprisingly; I don’t expect that to stick). No need to instill people with the falsity of hope when you can just kill the child straight out.

Burying people is kinda expensive last I checked. And what else are they going to do (legally)? Ask him to resurrect their kid?

I’m more surprised they spoke/were able speak to him for so long without trying to kill him or him running away.

Not that I doubt that money was possibility between knowing human nature and not knowing how burial works in China, but I’m obligated to point out that “compensation” doesn’t automatically mean money. Otherwise, “monetary compensation” would be as redundant as “ATM Machine” or “PIN Number”. They could have easily wanted to kill him as compensation.

That or an orgy–given Sexperienced posted the thread–to immediately replace the child. Life for a life either way.

Heh. Perhaps so.

I guess the only way to be sure is for Sexperienced to keep giving every bad thing from China that makes national news its own thread. We’ll never know otherwise.

When heard about the first story of the little girl not too long ago, I kind of let that one slide. But after reading “because it was cheaper than paying the hospital bills” in the first post, I just said ‘oh my god’ out loud. Since most of us were born and raised in America where we have different values, it’s difficult to argue against something like this. Yes, human life is precious, but if that’s how their culture rolls (no pun intended), than…well than, they’re just different.

speaking of chinese people do you know how heartless elderly Chinese landlords are? (elderly chinese folk in general). My last apartment was owned by a chinese lady who always insisted that i pay rent before it was due and that wasnt even the worst part…

…anyway, i’ve only posted 3 threads on China and you wouldnt have posted in all of them if you werent interested.

secondly, burying someone in China isnt expensive. Just dig a hole and throw them in it. Simple.

We do have a horrible stories thread, could stick all this in there so I don’t see three chinese threads from you looking for the wrestling and/or gaming threads lol.

I know you love the chinese dead people but clusterfucking GD won’t bring them back :frowning:

(That kind explains why Capcom won’t allow Hsien-ko and Chun-li to stop being bad, sadly.)

I’m surprised to that Jnana is the first and so far only person to bring up America or values considering all the moralizing that was going on so readily in the last thread. I am disappointed there isn’t much to work with.

I know how heartless elderly Chinese people can be in general. This is part of the reason I generally avoid Chinatown even though I know not all (elderly) Chinese people are that way.

Oh, I never pretended to not be interested in them; I’m just not “oh man, this is such a tragedy!” like everyone else since even though it’s rather fucked up, it’s rather par for the course unfortunately. If I was disinterested entirely, then even playing the Devil’s Advocate in the little girl’s thread wouldn’t have made much sense. I just find it odd that you can’t just make on big thread for one how much China sucks if everyone’s so willing to agree, but, meh, that’s hardly important.

Also, three? What was the third one? Because I’m pretty sure I didn’t post in that unless it was a while ago.

Haha. This is sadly probably true in a lot of places still, though I’m not sure it’s as sad as the sheer expense of a more formal burial. It’s…difficult to decide.

There is a convenience store near my work owned by this evil Chinese lady. She makes up prices on the spot.

6 bucks for a can of Monster? Gtfo

I’d love to hear more of ur landlord stories. I had an evil Cuban bitch for a landlord once. That shit got ugly fast.

Chinese shop owners are shifty as hell, if they don’t like you they let you know. Most passive-aggresive and shrewd people on Earth.

There was a store in a Toronto mall owned by this Chinese family that ONLY sold bootleg DVDs. It boggles the mind how they were allowed to operate for over a month (and made $50k).

looks like that kid just
shades
doubled up

OMG SGDSILAGFDS I FEEL LIKE A HORRIBLE PERSON. I had to say it though.
As for the story, that sucks. Especially after the one two weeks ago. The worst part is you can tell money is pretty much the cause of all of this. Both ends of the party had money at almost if not top priority here.

Why does the thread title say “again” in quotes?

Like there is ambiguity as to whether it was truly a repeated action or what? That is the absolute most distressing thing about this entire thread.

Lol. the story about the Chinese girl being ran over was all over the news, if i didnt post it i’m sure somone else would have, and i dont recall anyone dying when China played America in Basketball.

Damned, the third thread was a while ago. It was about China supplying North Korea with weapons to attack South Korea/ Japan.

I must be lucky then. The little place where I get my carry-out is chinese owned and they’ve always been happy to see me. Even the little kid (Don’t know who’s kid yet) is nice. Come to think of it, I should pay them a visit today. That boneless beef and fried rice wth the veggies is the BUISNESS!!!

-Starhammer-

When I saw the thread title, I thought it was really progressive of China to employ female truck drivers.

China goes hard on everything.
