If I had to explain Touhou in two words, I guess it would be âshmup fighter.â Yet at the same time, you really canât play the game the way you do with other fighters. All previous fighting game experience and knowledge wonât do you much good.
So the game will be very frustrating for a while until you get to a point where you begin comprehending to wtf youâre doing. I thought it was fun for a short while I played it, but I just couldnât keep up.

its all jamma, so yes you could easily, though probably with some minor changes, put a CPS2 board (xvsf) into a candy cab. you would need a cps2 kick harness to use the bottom 3 buttons however.
Shinji, do you just get your boards on ebay or is there some place that i am missing to find cheap boards. im only looking for cps2 really since ease of swapping.
most of my boards I either bought on ebay or japan yahoo auctions (such as fighting layer, and Tetris the grand master). My brother has bought most of his boards on ebay I believe. But check your local yellow pages for arcade amusement devices etc⌠I know 1 place in lyons that was selling some cabinets+kits as well as doing some repair work on them IIRC.
For getting it to work with a candy it shouldnât be that hard, especially if the candy cab is already wired for the CPS2 kick harness. Just plug and play basically.
Though in the case of fighting layer, dream hooked up me with a namco 48pin edge connector (their version of the kick harness), so Iâll have to wire that but shouldnât be too difficult.
