To everyone I played last night in MvC3 and KOFXIII, good games.
I was the guy wearing a plaid shirt with a beard and playing a somewhat decent Wolverine in MvC3 and a lame Ash in KOFXIII.

I haven’t been to Area XIII so I can’t say, but yeah. If you’re able to get into the venue without paying, that’s already going uphill.
The thing about GGA, as others have mentioned, is that you HAVE to pay to get in. You walk in, and these guys snipe you.
So if anything, I think GGA has shown people are willing to pay. So you either need to hire bouncers for Area XIII or keep a list or something.
Cause yeah, and this goes for everything, if people don’t HAVE to pay the fee, they won’t. Cause they either forgot or they just didn’t want to if they didnt have to.

Were you guys playing kof13 on the arcade cabinet? Dan said he wasn’t coming so I didn’t think anyone would be playing since it was just me and him playing last time. Always up for getting some kof13 games in, wasn’t aware anyone else was playing it there.
Also, I’ve been to area xiii three times I think, I paid joe every time, kind of dumb to fare dodge at a place you’re hanging out at for a few hours. I do understand some people not carrying around cash though, but I don’t think its hard to stop at an ATM before heading out.
There was a good 4/5 people playing on and off on the cabinet, and on Tactic’s laptop. Most people were using the cabinet for practice, then went to play other people on the laptop.
At least from now on, I’m definitely gonna be around to KOF. I plan on coming out to GGA every Wednesday.
It’d be nice to play more people and get good. Instead of relying on tactics like mashing CD, lol.
EDIT: In regards to who was playing, it was me, AuhsojSivart and thwak. Then 2 other guys that I saw playing on the laptop that I didn’t know who they were.
I didn’t even know there was a laptop setup going on. I only played on the cabinet.
I can bring my stuff to stream on wednesdays. I’m usually in town during the week.
It was in the back. I can see why you woulda missed it.
Also, GGs to everyone there last night that i played.
We need to make sure that the systems have the newest patches for games next time. I think one of the MvC3 setups still had Sentinel pre-nerf.
I used two different ps3s (the ones provided in the game room) and they had the latest patch for mk, just no dlc (not even the free ones). Pete talked to doc about getting the dlc on the gameroom systems via usb and he seemed to be cool with it.
Either way, I’m almost positive all the systems in there are online capable you just have to log into an online profile. So worst case you could just patch it yourself. The signs on the walls say you can go online with the systems atleast.
Edit: unless you mean someones own personal system, and in that case…yeah just make sure to patch the games you bring lol
Sup guys! It’s Thursday again, and I plan on hosting casuals at my house tonight around 6 till whenever! Mainly play that mahvel but feel free to bring AE or anything else. UPDATE: So far I got 2 setups. If someone can bring another console (PS3 if possible), I got a pretty roomy basement for 3 setups.

No not really, I bought the monthly pass cause GGA is awesome and definitely want to head out there a few times a week this summer.
The year pass does sound like a steal though.
