GGs at AreaXIII, cant wait for GGA now!!! REMEMBER TO BRING SETUPS; Speakers, Power strips, Extra Screens(just in case), Systems, Games and Controllers!!! They mentioned that they would have around 5-7 Asus 27 inch LCDs for us to use, I think those have built in speakers but i have no idea how loud they go. Sounds like its going to be a very good showing at GGA, dont miss out!! Also remember that its only $5 to play strictly in the Game Rooms and $15 to play in both(arcade floor and game rooms).

I will be able to provide a PS3 and a stick for tonight @ GGA. I will need help with HDMI/VGA as well as games to go with the console. I won’t be able to provide it till closing since I have a business trip tomorrow to Miami and the flight is 5:30 in the morning.

Yeah, going to be a good crowd it seems like. Talked to Doc some more, said he was going to make sure that we have Wednesday all the time from now on! So this will be a weekly event. We can eventually get a stream going as well, id like to nominate Brock and Okame as commentators! We will definitely need the equipment to get things going. They are definitely catering well to us so please be supportive!

They are having about 3 screens for use currently for us so please bring some if you could, I myself will be bringing 2-3 screens, id need someone to bring a VGA cable for 360 if you have a spare. Things are looking great, come out and support EVERYONE!!!

I am new to the SSF4 series and I have been coming onto Shoryuken.com alot to figure out how to play the game. After 2 weeks of learning about spacing, how to defend crossups, wake up attacks, FADC and so on I want to see how I fair against actual people instead of beating the computer. I am looking to test out my knowledge and skills against you the player. I also want any input to see what I am doing wrong or if there are any improvements that I need to work on. If you want to see how good you are show up in person to an event / gathering instead. Online play is not a good way to measure skill or progression. Read the First few post on this thread, they have some detailed info on them! Welcome to the Chicago thread as well, hopefully you actually come out instead of hiding behind that online play :).

So I decided I’m going to host casuals at my house tomorrow! I wanted it to start at 6 till about maybe 1am? Or till whenever ppl have to leave. If you live in the Northside area/went to Ignite and is looking to level up, come by for some gaming. I met some of you guys at Ignite, you look like some pretty honest people that just want to meet new players and get better. Anyways, I’ve already got 3-4 ppl that might be interested in tomorrow as well so plz hit me a message or something if you’d be possibly interested.

SN: And if you happen to have snacks or anything that you can bring, that would be great. I got some soda and chips i think as well. And hookah if anyone does that lol.
