Anyone in the south suburbs want to play AE, most of my friends got work or gave up on fighting games. (except mk for some reason) I’m trying to learn Yun and akuma, as well as improve my juri. (AE is taking all damn day to download though)

GIANT problem don’t know if any one can help. Was playing online and opponent drops match, no big deal. But i go into the next match and NONE of my kicks register! I leave and go to training mode, same thing kicks WILL not register, they dont even display as being pressed in training mode!! The controller isn’t broken because i can navigate menus and everything but they no longer work in the game.
Does any one have any ideas at all? Help please!
Best thing you can do is report the bug on the Capcom Unity boards in detail as to what characters you were using, time on clock…ect. A rep will most likely reply and try to find a solution for you. Hopefully you can get some help as that is a major fucking bug, but hopefully it goes away after you power cycle your system?
Found out was wrong, traded controllers for a different one, I broke the button.
Looks like my cheap ass will finally have to buy a stick so i stop being so free, and also stop breaking controllers ( not anger related, just press shoulders too hard in fighters.).

speaking of controllers, I just saw on some streams people using the “Hitbox.” Anyone here have any experience with that business?
I’m surprised you didn’t notice that I was playing on a hitbox last week at Dead’s. I’ve been using it pretty much exclusively since marvel came out.

A.E. is pretty damn epic by the way. Oni Akuma is starting to drive me crazy though he has so many options. Plus playing online I don’t know if it’s just me but is anyone else getting hit with a bunch of mashed DP’s? I mean I now people have mashed before but now it’s crazy! I played an Oni that mashed ex DP and before I could punished he mashed a second one? That was dumb lol. Even with E. Ryu I played someone who mashed a light DP and then his ultra 2 before I could punish. Playing Yang and trying to punish is driving me crazy…Any tips?
I dunno I have found decent players in ranked so far, as far as mashers is concerned you have to learn how to block and thats about it. Bait and block is how you beat mashers. Only mashers that are harder to beat are Gief / Thawk players imo cause they do a ton of damage with the churn butter 360. Also not sure what system you play on but 360 has better players on it. If anything just avoid playing online and play some of our mashers in person to get a better feel on how to beat it.
Whats wrong with AE Clayton? Game is very good imo, they cant nerf twins either way cause they are just like makoto. They are either bottom tier or top tier by just making a few adjustments.
Ill be online in a few if someone wants to make a room, if not then ill be playing ranked on Tactics SRK account.
Be careful with that Hitbox cause some tourneys do ban them and I think EVO is one of them(at least I heard it was going to be). Was for the reason that someone could have a board in them that would let you block both sides at the same time in games like MVC3. The way I see it is playing on stick is just fine, dont see a need to relearn that muscle memory unless you played on the KB a ton before.

ae is what the game should have been all along. cry about yun and yang or whatever but i like that direction for the game.
I’ve been just baiting but I can never punish it seems…? Sometime even when I do Yang’s DP Kicks I wont get a proper punish even with an up close light version. I play on XBL to.
Go read the newly posted frame data on whoever you are having trouble with and see what your character can punish(if its even punishable) with.
