Damn still hyped about last night, hopefully it carries over into Saturday!
Well guys I’ve soon I’ll be able to make to GGA sessions as soon as I get my car. I’ve looked up bus routes for GGA/Ignite though the buses usually take 2 hours plus to get to GGA, and sessions last till 2 A.M. when everything is shutdown, so I wouldn’t have any way to get back. I’ve posted here before, just thought I’d reintroduce myself. I’ve recently moved to Glenview and live on Milwaukee, (real close by Golf Mill Mall) and am trying to find people that live around here to play some local MK or AE, and to possibly carpool to GGA until I get settled/familiar with the neighborhood and get my own car so I can show up to sessions.
Right now I’m trying to make adjustments/plans to attempt to show up to CH3 with one of my friends back in Chicago, hopefully he comes with me so I can go. If not than, I’ll see if I can take the bus down for an hour to Crown Plaza.

I don’t believe so. Then again, I don’t know where he is from. I talked to him briefly after he lost to Humbag, he said that he’s usually all over XBox live and that this was his first ever gathering/event.

Thanks again for the showing and Max/Domingo for getting there early to get things started. As mentioned, we could use more monitors so we can let people get in some casuals. If you have a copy of AE, you can just bring that and use one of GGA’s consoles (both are available). For MvC3, I think if we can just get the GGA consoles patched, there should be no problem (DLC isn’t likely an issue till Ultimate). The only game that really requires everything is MK at the moment. Again, we want to have games going for as many people as possible at once, but we are gonna need a hand to make that possible.
Max, I’m not gonna be able to take a picture for you till saturday. My girlfriend has the camera. But if anyone is wondering, I got a set of capcom shot glasses and 25 gift card for gamestop. Which just shows that, again, even scrubs can win something. So do make an effort to join in and help out in some way and get rewarded for it.

My friend works there, and I was thinking on using that as a place for the few people from the north suburbs.
(I’m not trying to take away from Ignite or GGA… I love GGA and need to head out to Ignite sometime, but it gets expensive for an unemployed fuck like myself.)
