Been a while since I have posted here, but I figured this journey was worth the post.
TLDR bought a mix box, gutted it, went through a bunch of buttons, settled on all black (as always).
brooks board /w sodc set to last used, sanwa silent gen 2 buttons (best ive found), and cherry mx speed switches /w dampeners 70A hardness.

I tolerances were a little tight (no fault of Jasens) (it was mixbox’ non standard viewlix template) so I ended up taken a dremmel to it to make more clearance (and hand slipped at end hehe). (now it’s battle worn, like me (matches my brain surgery scar hehe). The artwork version had the artwork for the buttons, but I got lazy and ended up going to the clear buttons with black, then moving to the sanwa gen2s. all in all she weighs like 7 lbs and it solid. Also the mix box has spots for buttons in the cord compartment, so i bought a usb pass through and jammed it in to make the cord detachable.
I may end up getting it repainted or cut if i care, but i dont =)
TLDR this thing is a silent, super sensitive, tank of a beast of a input device. It functions so well the blems just remind me life isn’t perfect, and neither am i, but dang does it function well!!!

Is that just a chrome top with a blow torch? Love that look just curious to how u went about doing this! This would be dope to do with a all metal modual case with the flame kiss!!!
It is machined titanium that I brought to a mirror polish and torched. Here’s a video of the torch job.

Anyone in here know how to work photoshop or .PSD template files? Got a New Mayflash F500 stick i’m looking to mod with artwork. I have the custom artwork already done for it but, it’s in a .PNG file (couldn’t find a .PSD version). I just need to adapt it to a .PSD template, to where i could take the file to an Office Depot or something and, get them to print it out (where it pops out proper size).
