Brought mine to a session last night. Everyone there used it and nobody had any issues with it. Hitting combos no problem, including some one frame links.
OK I did more testing and the Blazepro is awesome, seems lagless, no drop inputs, works well with Hrap1, Hrap2sa, namco ps1 stick, SFAC 3.5v, PS1 Twin blaze dual stick. Just make sure you use a good wired controller, my madcatz wired controller I was using was giving me glitches(yay for madcatz quality) that I blamed on the blazepro but after using a microsoft wired pad I have no problems at all. I highly Recommend this especially for the $13 shipped I paid on ebay. It came with no box just packed inside a padded envelope. Only gripe I have is that there is no xbox home button, that the xconverter has. Im still waiting on my xconverter to test.
Try hitting both “select” and “start” button on the psx controllers to bring up the home button.
I was wondering whether it has the same problem with the xfps where if you hit the left/right direction at the same time as a med kick or light punch (at the default stick option) a few times that the characters will move by themselves?? A problem which I can say definitely happens on digital psx pcbs, but with analog, it seems less but noticable when the characters do a mini step.
i’ve tried that, no luck with the namco. i might have to be non-lazy and find one of my ps1/ps2 controllers to try. my only issue with the converter as of right now is the lack of home button.
I have a question about these. I only own one wired 360 controller and that is my stick. If I were to use that controller as the plugin to get the ps2 controller working would I then be able to unplug my 360 stick and use that as player 2?
No. It won’t work. The controller used to by pass the security block basically “gives up” its ID to the converter. Two controllers with the same ID can’t be used at the same time
Awesome, that is going to work for me. I love my 360 stick but I have been beating the shit out of my PS2 stick for the past 5 years and want to keep it going.
