Random facts I remember from a class about HIV/AIDS:

- Being circumcised mildly protects men because the tip of the penis has more keratinized skin rather than uncircumcised where the skin is protected and therefore more delicate.
No, the most high risk way of transferring the virus is blood transfusion followed by needle sharing. This is followed by unprotected anal sex where the active partner is HIV positive *and he doesn’t pull out * (makes a big difference in probability of transmission). Anal sex is not limited to homosexuals.
Homosexuals or more accurately, ‘Men who have Sex with Men’ (MSM) are indeed the most high risk population (mainly because men are whores), but if we go by raw numbers, most infections are women.
