I bought a PS3 on ebay that was originally a 40 GB, but the seller upgraded its hard drive to 320 GB and it came with a Nyko remote, 1 controller, and all cords. The link is right here if you want to see more details about it:

Only problem is I dont think it has the internal wifi that the new 80 GB PS3s have. So, I’m going to have to buy one.
I also bought a new copy of Kill Zone 2 + the strategy guide ($19.99 value) from a different seller for $50.50-I know the game was a good deal b/c in Gamestop a new game is usually $59.99 and it doesn’t come with a strategy guide.
Only reason why I bought PS3 was to play Kill Zone 2

Well, you can’t please everyone. As far as ratings go, on gamespot.com it has pretty high ratings and other critics gave it pretty good ratings also. I also watched videos of the game and it looks like something I’d like. I also played the first KZ and thought it was good too. So, overall, I think I have a pretty high chance of liking it.
Even if it sucks, I at least have a PS3 now so if there are any exclusive titles coming out for 360 or PS3 that I’d like-I now have access to both!!
I had kill zone 2 for a little bit. It’s a good shooter but i just couldn’t get into it. After playing COD4 everything else is damn near obsolete.
Championship mode is highly addicting. I finally hit G2 last night… all i can say is shit is real in the g2 son!!! lol

ummm… this would be a good deal if it had internal wifi because psn is free… BUT SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG HERE…
ONLY the very first, original 2006 20gb version came WITHOUT internal wifi… ALL others (40gb 2007 to the present 160gb 2008) came with wifi. soooo…
either you DO have a 40gb with wifi… or he sold you a 20gb version without wifi (but has backwards ps2 compatibility)… what makes you think it doesnt have wifi?
Online is pretty whack until you rank up to g2 where scrubs are a lot less common. But still lag makes it hard to anti air on reaction and hit hard links… You can get exposed to good players that use characters not really seen around here. Played a really solid chun li, a bunch of sagats, a rose, with some boxers and zangiefs mixed in.
My mistake, I must’ve thought that there were other versions of PS3 without Wi-fi. I may have been incorrect. So, anyways, glad to hear that it was a good deal :lovin:
For a while, I’ve been trying to snipe an 80 GB for around $255.99 but kept getting outbidded. Then, I found this 320 GB for only $299.99 and I just kinda impulsed bought it b/c it sounded good. btw, it is possible to win an 80 GB for $250ish…the lowest winning bid I’ve seen so far was $242.
Dell had/has an 80 gig PS3 up for sale for 299 for the time being. If I wasn’t going out of state next month I’d be all up on that.

I really like the way they’re handling the widescreen. Pretty smart of them. Also the netcode being based off HD Remix’s code = hell yes.

There’s been talks about maybe doing a 2v2 for a RANBAT. We could do this one or maybe next month. The format would be elimination-style, but you have to do it 2/3. ie: A/B vs. 1/2. A beats 1, then 2. That’s 1-0 A/B.
If you are interested in this, regardless of when it is, I need your opinion on the following:
For partners, should they be:
a) People can pick their own partners
b) Random partners
c) “Seeded” partners (top ranked with bottom ranked)
d) other
Also, for sure, the same character cannot be used twice in a single match (ie: No Sagat/Sagat). However, should people be allowed to switch characters, or should players be forced to keep the same character? If they’re forced to use the same character, then the losing team would have the option of changing their team order or the other team’s order.
