I live in Clemson (I go to Clemson University). I was suggesting as a incentive that anyone wanting to go to impact clash saturday can come up friday or w/e and crash at my apt in Clemson get drunk (only 3 hours from Charleston) and then I’ll drive the other 2 hours to Atlanta in my car. So essentially you’d only be driving 3 hours there and back as opposed to almost 6 there 6 back if you went to atlanta straight from charleston.

Wish I could hit tournaments hard, but I have to work weekends. I have the weekend of May 28th off, but that’s because I’m getting surgery so I won’t be doing a whole lot of moving around 
I always feel like it’s 5 hours or more anytime I want to get there on a weekday during the day because of god awful traffic. When is the next ranbat? MvC2 was confirmed long ago. There was an ESRB showing with achievements back in January, they just suppressed it for SFIV’s release. What kind of band do you have rob?
Yeah I just lose focus and get bored. I play mostly for fun and try not to make it too serious. I always lose to turtles though. The match gets boring and I just want to get it over win or lose and begin playing high risk.

Next ranbat is sometime in may, I think josh is trying to schedule it around the other tournies for maximum turn out. Unfortunately everyone is having tournies in may. Augusta and greensborro for sure. Justin trying to get one for myrtle beach. Plus ranbats would make a tourny got every weekend.
I’m in a death metal/deathcore band called Gates of Attica. They have a myspace but haven’t update it since I joined.
I’m definitely gonna try to get some games in online today, should anyone be around for that. I am gonna try some new things out with sim that’ll be pretty dope if it’s worthwhile.
Also, there’s a post in the sf4 forums about a button press method for hitting 1 frame links more consistently that I think is worth a read. I’ll be attempting to learn it even though sim doesn’t really need it. I think it’s called the tsuji or tsuki method?
hay Luis what type of buttons did u put in that stick u made. and did u have to cut the wood at a to get them to fit. or did u just use something thin?
to get straight cuts you can go to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Buttons are Sanwa OBSF-30s.
what do u mean straight cuts? how thick was the wood that u used to get OBSF-30s to fit?

You should be able to get all the pieces cut for the box itself over those stores because they are straight cuts.
OBSFs are snap-ins, so you need about 4mm (if I remember right) for the top part for it to be able to snap. People usually use metal or plexiglass for snap-in buttons. OBSFs are screw-ins which can be used on wood with no problems. I haven’t checked how to drill the holes for those, though. The holes for those are 30mm (snap-in). And for start/select it’s 24mm.
I don’t know how it works for the screw-in buttons so I would check it here.

I’m trying to decide a second character. I want to be able to rush down. I’m heavily considering Chun Li, Ken, Akuma, and E Honda. Let me know what you guys think. 
I can’t think of anyone that plays Chun li for reals around here, so maybe her.
I’m loving the Akuma rushdown, but it has high risk/reward. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna be my Dictator backup.
