whew, I actually did some stick work today
I went by there and they DO have them I picked up two packs.
Kevin, Im hacking a new pad for that stick. i swapped the stick and the buttons and even redid the paint job. I should be done within the hour… assuming I don’t get distracted:xeye: The other case I had for you has been routed and the top panel primed. after a few coats of black it’ll be done. I just don’t have any artwork to go inside of it
Thomas, the flaws on your case have been fixed it just needs a few more coats of paint. I would really love to put 3-4 more coats of paint and some Laquer to seal it up but I have to leave Tuesday evening. You can either get the stick unsealed on Sunday/Monday or wait until (God knows when) I come back and perfect the paint it’s up to you. Also I have countless Playstation pad for you to hack and destroy.

John or Luis: My XBox360 EX Hori no longer goes up or down. Everything else works (including right and left). Would one of y’all mind looking at (and possibly repairing) it? Also, I’d appreciate a price quote on what it would cost to replace the buttons and sticks with sanwa parts

Tournaments are at Play N’ Trade in West Ashley. It’s on HWY 61 in the same shopping center as Senor Tequila and Total Wine & Liquor. It’s across the street from Barnes & Noble.
We’ll be running a tournament at CofC in the Stern Center during the Fall semester. I tried to do that for this one, but CofC told me they wanted to do it in the Fall. If it goes well, expect more at the college!

Because of SF4, Akihabara and LL are frequently closing down since they are swamped with orders.
Akihabara’s price on Sanwa OBSF-30s is about 1.80 dollars each. Now for joysticks, the LS-32, LS-33, LS-40, JLF, and JLW in the 20s/30s. Shipping is gonna be a bit expensive because they ship from Japan. From their site:

Hey guys, if anyone finds a TE stick for 360 in the Charleston area…please send me a PM. For those who don’t know, many different game shops got a second shipment yesterday. I live in Columbia, and am thinking about driving to Gastonia, NC to get one since they have 2 in stock. I have friends in Charleston though, so the drive would be much more worth it if one turns up there. Thanks in advance for the help!
