Yeah I’m trying to decide between Hawkeye’s 3 arrow assist and his poison arrow assist. I like both but I’m not sure which one will be more useful. Just going to have to try them for a while I suppose. Vergil/Morrigan/Sent sounds like a good team too. I think Morrigan is really underrated as a character.
SC5 is coming out soon too… People should play it bc it is looking good…
I would probably go with the 3 arrow assist over the poison. I’ve been trying to think up some good extended combos with Morrigan/Vergil and Sentinel works well for both.
@ Paul: SC5 is going to be a hype! The SC series only 3D game franchise that I’ve been a big fan of.
im on hawkeye, nemesis, storm/doom right now. storm is really really good now since all the rushdown characters got semi nerfed for the most part and she seems relatively untouched. hawkeye is gdlk, and nemesis has retarded 1 mil relaunch resets. hes like a more damaging poor mans ghost rider

What’s going on with the tournaments? Can you elaborate a little?
Who is going to be hosting this week? The more I look at KOF the more it looks like it’s going to be the truth. So once SF drops that is going to be three good games that are playable. It’s very hard to be really good at three games. :lol:
I’ll see about hosting this upcoming Tuesday for some games if ppl are down to come over and play. The tournament is Saturday December 3rd, 2011. Sign up begins around 9pm and tournament begins exactly at 10 pm.
Also I played KOF13 the other day with Eb Thomas. The game looked real good and played more like a regular KOF game than KOF12 did but for me personally i wasnt really too hyped up when I was playing it.
That’s kind of late for a tourney. I have to be in the bed by 8pm. The street lights are coming on earlier these days.

You genuinely sound let down about this. Trust me when I tell you that there was no need to reserve this game. They are going to have plenty left over. Everyone should take a minute to snicker about this post. I just busted out laughing when I read this.

Hawkeye seems pretty good so far. I’ve been messing with him and strider as the assist. Hawkeye keeps them zoned out while strider’s vajra assist prevents them from super jumping in. and, sometimes even if the opponent teleports the vajra will hit them

@ Dr. Faust: I’ll be picking up my copy of KOF13 after I get off work today and will need to brush up on some fundamentals for the game.
Been hearing really good things about KOF13 so far. Gonna probably pick up my copy tomorrow since I have the day off.
Looking forward to messing around with Kyo, Kensou, Ralf, and Kim. Most of the cast looks interesting, though, so who the hell knows what my team will end up being.
I really hope we can get a decent KOF scene going around here.
I’m picking up KOF today as well. Never played one before so I’ll be super scrubby but I kinda want to pick up a new fighting game that isn’t from Capcom.
