CofC ACM club is hosting a LAN party from 11-11 today. If people bring set-ups they can set up consoles as well. They’ll be doing tournaments and I might run a couple as well. It’s downtown on campus

Do you need to be a student to show up for the lan? I wouldn’t bring a cpu but I would be interested in showing up with a stick and getting my ass kicked some. I’m trying to figure out the best way to mod my panel on my standup cab to make it more 2df friendly. After I do that I would probably be interested in hosting. The shitty part is the wife and I are in a one bedroom right now but I do have the standup cab, 2x360 one modded one not, a modded ps3, modded ps2, sticks to go around, 2 lcd monitors, a 32"lcd tv , 46" plasma and a 32" 4:3 crt. Sticks to go around so I’m pretty sure I got the gear to have one hell of a night.

If I’m not mistaken, this will be the first major to feature Arcade Edition for Super Street Fighter IV! However we’ll have several games on hand: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Super Street Fighter II Turbo. More game announcements are still tentative!

Last i heard, DLC for AE was Jun7, which makes CEO the first major, 2 weeks before this.
I use Chun on point and depend on assists to get in, I am getting completely shutdown by magneto projectiles. Anyone have a suggestion for getting in on Mag as Chun?? I’ve been pouring over the strategy guide but am not doing good at finding an assist that comes out faster then mag’s beam at full screen/beats it.
Edit: MvC3 question.
Tactics really depend on who those assists are.
