I’m telling Charleston will be better for it. everyone gets a turn “all night” and you will get more comfortable in a best of three setting so when u go to a tournament or ranbat and get blown up you wont still be sitting there in the chair saying “that was only two. don i have 3 more?” no motherfucker! this is a tournament not Charleston casuals?! lol smh
The entire reason people play more than one game now is because they want to prove that the other person “earned” their win. This isn’t UMvC3. Put a token up and get to the back of the line! Besides, what tournament is everybody practicing for? I keep hearing about tournament preparation, but why? Shouldn’t people be more focused on getting the opportunity to learn the game and save tourney prep for the weeks of actual tournaments?
Yeah sounds good because seems like in all games lately everyone is a turtle (Except for me bc I RUSH DOWN all day) but I agree with 5 wins.

yea but i cant stop people from traveling lol. at least this way they will always be comfortable with a tournament setting. that’s how da big boys that everyone so fond of do.

Clint, Rob, Rob, and Vince are all playing, but whether or not they stick with it, who knows. I’m getting the impression that Rob (Andoga) isn’t going to keep at it, though Clint will keep playing. Vince seems to enjoy it and picks up on things rather quickly. Rob (beard) plays with Duffey and Carnell sometime in SVille. Ray makes his way out here when he gets the opportunity to leave base.

The new rules for casuals is what I discuss with most of u guys via phone or text is basicly what Shawn said on the post. We thought of the same thing without talking to each other until I mention it to him. All games will be 2/3 besides umvc3 it will be 3/5 sets. If u lose the set pass the stick no salty runbacks. I think that was one of the most stupidest thing I ever seen in. That shit has to go away. If u lose hold that L its not the winners fault u lost. Also Final Round gave me the idea of wn 5 sets pass the stick and let others play because your beasting way too much lol. This gives a chance for ppl to play each other instead of Just one person that night, and for the winner not get bored. If ppl said that doing these short sets they dont get learning experience all I would say is this back in the Day where Josh, Jerome, Shawn, Ryan, Paul, and myself had to learn to adapt really fast because we are paying 50 cents, and if we didnt win we run out of money and had to go home or watch others play.
If ppl want to do Ft5 or salty runbacks that’s fine just make sure there is a tv or monitor available. I know these rules will be applied at my place every time I host. I hope it becomes a Charleston standard that everyone agrees with. 2/3 sets winner stays losers wait. If u win 5 sets please get off and let 2 new competitors play so everyone can play each other.
