Who all is everyone else playing? Rob A is probably going to switch out Bryan for somebody else (I think he would enjoy playing Lars). I want to work on Ogres, Changs, and Feng Wei/Leo at some point. I keep playing with the idea of switching Jinpachi out for somebody else, but his punishment is so strong (while Marduk’s is not) and he’s got great combo synergy. I think I’ll just have to tough it up and get used to playing like a bootleg Mishima XD
I agree about the rules Thomas. If I host then the rules apply at my place as well. Good run last night Anthony. Shawn work on your defense and patience. Your offense is on point for sure. You are a lot more consistent and haven’t been dropping combos and juggles. You usually lose because you got hit with something because you keep attacking. Start learning your lessons as well. Getting hit with the same setup over and over has to stop for you to start winning more. Also keep giving the pointers during matches because it helps. Good session last night guys. It was a nice rotation going on and we all pretty much got to play each other.

Bruce and Jack 6 seems the team I really like as of right now. But the games went really smooth the other night. It felt really good for me to play Tekken then switch over to play some Street Fighter when I wanted without waiting too long. Next Saturday will be most likely bigger cause we will have Persona 4, Tag 2, umvc3, and AE being played but at least everyone will be able to play.
I am ready for P4 and Tekken.
We don’t really have any crazy rules or anything like that. Most folks that come over have enough sense to not be assholes and play ft9000when other people are waiting to play. When somebody’s been winning, they typically pass off around 10 wins so that other people can fight one another. It’s amazing what happens when you don’t have to deal with people taking casual results as if they’re some form of a regular season rankings XD

five is better than ten. but its ur sessions, ur rules. Yes casual results should be taken seriously. lets face it no one is “sandbagging” because they don’t want to pass it weather there playing craig or baek. the same way u play in casuals is the same way u play in tournament. that’s why the reason why local tournament’s don’t work here because people are like “why do i have to pay for casuals?” mentality towards it because we all play the same no matter if its casuals or tournament so taking casuals seriously is ok. Then that’s where the five and pass and enforcing the two out of three will eliminate the feeling of discouragement if someone happen to take a loss.
This explains why people here don’t win actual tournaments.
