Here’s my quick Adon before today’s update, like I said I’m gonna catch up soon, but I guess I have all week till the next update so I’ll take my time on Blanka, Birdie and Chun Li.

One of them is from a new artist though. A friend I just moved in with who is also from SCAD submitted a cool watercolor piece.
4neqs: I like that headshot of Chun-Li. Looks pretty good, dude. I’d like to see you investigate this more realistic style more and develop it.
scumgale: Eek, it’s so tiny! Cool pose though. His limbs are lookin just a little wonky. Try sketching out the general masses first before adding the muscles.
VSlash: Hehe, Blanka the businessman is pretty funny. Watch the positioning of your hands. The one holding the briefcase is bending the wrist at an impossible angle. That’s quite the T&A you’ve given Chun there. Lol, not to be perverted, but from an anatomical standpoint, you’d probably see some of her crotch between her cheeks in that pose, and the boob shouldn’t stick that far out to the side, even if it is exaggerated.
Star250: That is one sweet ass animation, man. I love it.
Bandit: Try to plan out your black shapes more before you lay them down. The way you have them there has a very aprehensive feeling to them with the way you have them not touching any of the outlines on the arm. Take some more time in the pencil stage planning where they should go and how the volumes would form them. I would also reccomend leaving the cast shadow from the nose out unless you were going to go into more complete high contrast lighting. It can look funny when there is a black shadow from the nose, but no shadows elsewhere on the face to match.
Here’s my Birdie. Didn’t feel like inking, so it’s just pencils this time. Usually I actually make up a decent amount of my drawings during the inking stage, since I’m pretty comfortable inking and was lazy, but lately I’ve been forcing myself to do more complete pencils and planning.

Yeah the anatomy on both pictures is really shaky. I realized that blanka’s hand couldn’t go like that when I was drawing it, but I was just like “Oh well f-it” and just draw it how it is. I made chuns boobs stick out like that purposely,so yeah I was wrong on purpose, I was gonna put a nipply bump but then that would’ve been really retarded anatomy.
I’m going to do a birdie, I just thought Chun was next. For some reason I’m getting tired of drawing characters who weren’t created by me, I think thats a bad sign because like 70 percent of my drawings in this thing have been throw-a-way sketchy things.
I’ll just have to make the remaining 9 characters left look super duper cool.
I just love pencil drawings. That birdie is so sweet whore, even if his right leg is a little screwed.

I just realised how tough it is to draw chains! I’m currently drawing some character with chains (gona post it soon:bgrin:) It’s like… u cant draw one part… coz it’s all connected!.. and then you start to draw the other part… then u can’t finish that bit… coz its linked to the next one! and so on… argh I hate drawing chains!

I’m using Photoshop to colour my stuff, I don’t have access to painter at work (shhh…)
btw my Birdie is late, but I’m working on the colours now. Working out a pose for Sak too. Chun to come when I can find the time
