EX Sunflower is alright but it depends on the distance between yourself and your opponent. It tends to whiff a lot for me on crouchers. Maybe it’s because of the length of the move?
EX Den is not a bad move but, I’ve found that you can stick a DP in between the last two hits of the move (the last strike before she does the knee for the wallbounce) no-one has done it to me yet. But it’s just something I look out for.
no she just flat out rapes the hell out of him. Nothing he can do. she gets free 40% meterless combos. He can’t seismo at all. Hk feisty rabbit to thorn gets you a free one meter near 50% combo lol.
I never said it was difficult for her to get in. All of her moves out prioritize his, so she can pressure him with almost every button and cancel into feisty to bait dp, and even if you go for the low follow up and he blocks, he is still going to have a hard time punishing it. So yeah I think this match up is like 7/3.
Is anyone familiar with the Dudley or Ryu matchups? All I know atm is that you can punish dudleys machine gun blow if it isn’t the light version, and ryu’s shoryuken. I’ve been trying to adante ryu’s shoryuken, that should work nicely if I can get it.
I forgot to include CH in that post, apologies, but you can combo off it on counter hit, so you could delay your CADC and catch their buttons and then cr.mk xx lance/ex de.
Very solid vid and shows most of the things you should be generally doing as a Lili player. Sure some resets are purely character specific but the ones that aren’t are pretty much mandatory. Very good stuff.
see during the whole creation of the vid i was thinking, hey i should add parts where Lili gets blown up trying to go for these resets to enforce the fact that these resets are not 100% guaranteed.

Alright other Lili players I have some homework for you.
I need someone to find an optimised post launcher combo that either ends in launcher or sets up a **safe raw tag. **Minimum damage output I am expecting to break **meterless is 250, **Looking for at least 300.
I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but wouldn’t ending a post launcher in heavy languish beat or Peacock Jive give you enough space to safely raw tag? Ending a combo with a high enough Dendrobium also allows a safe raw tag since it floats the opponent before they hit the ground. I’ve never tried it post launcher, it’s usually something I do after Ex Sunflower Lance since that’s my hail mary.
I may look into other set ups for denro but her other strings that lead into a hard knock down don’t give her enough time to raw tag safely, leaving the incoming character exposed to punish is they tech roll in response to the raw tag(which they always will)
That’s true, honestly I’m not really too creative in squeezing out huge damage from raw launcher, post launcher set-ups. The only thing I could even come up with was Andante, Heavy Languish, raw launcher.
I tried Angel Knee with Xiaoyu’s launcher and no dice, that’s why I had to go with Andante instead. Doesn’t Vega’s launcher give you a little bit more time for set-ups than most?
