I can’t speak in absolutes, but there’s no sales tax for me, at least.
I figure it’s safe to assume that there’s no sales tax.
If Recom has any sense, they’ll not make the same mistake the previous rights holder made of not bringing this game to the US. The game just screams, “America!” But it might be too late. No game has been able to squeeze past SF4. Though, no game, post-SF4, has really been that good.
I think that is one thing that people fail to see about SF4 overshadowing so many new games.
But yes, America is definitely the true market for this game, unlike Japan where they need to make games that appeal to rampant pedophiles, are based off of a popular anime, or have kawaii dressup options for the games to get any play ever
But yes this game is so america, I remember when I first saw blurry ass Mara footage like 3 years ago and thought he was a mindflayer, I about killed myself over the knowledge that I would never get to play this game. Im still pretty sad he isnt a mindflayer, actually.
Speaking of Arcana Heart…
This game and Arcana Heart 3 have soo much synergy together. I’m going to show people Chaos Breaker and if for whatever reason they don’t like Chaos Breaker, I’ll lead them to Arcana Heart 3. And when I show people Arcana Heart 3, if they don’t like that then show them to Chaos Breaker. It’s like a overhead+low unblockable, you can’t hate both at the sametime.
You either like one or the other (or both). I’ll never have to play SF4 ever again.
maaan what a jinx, let’s hope no tax
I want to check this game out so bad. It’s one that even a friend who doesn’t like fighters might get into just because of the subject matter. Looks fun too.
I most likely answered my own question… :shake:
So after you create another user account, you just go into where the languages are and switch it to Japanese, and you now have JP account?..
How many here like how Rastan looks… sorry I meant Ramda.
And Sandra now reminds me of Jen-Tai from WeaponLord, just without the warrior helmet.
So anyone know why they redesigned Ramda and Sandra? I’m not saying that they look bad… The original designs just had more flare to them…
This game is so cool. <3
This…
is a genius idea.

This shall help you
And I dont really know, maybe its because of how ridiculously similar they look to Guts from Berserk and Cassandra from Soul Calibur respectively? Really have no idea. I don’t really mind, though Ramda’s new portrait art looks atrocious from what I was able to make out. I won’t be using those characters anyways so I don’t mind it much.
I’ll gameshare it with you in exchange for some light MW-tourney pimping of said game ;]
hahaha no I’ll gameshare it with you anyways
I’ve been secretly eying the game and with tataki on vids and Ghostal putting the game on blast with all the info this is a must. But after reading all of this it seems like this game is gonna be hard to get unless we find a way not to get raped on JP PSN Cards or game share it somehow. This is just another example why these things need to be regulated. Hopefully they just release it in the US and be done with it. We’ll see.
30 some dollars too much for people, or do prices for PSN cards fluctuate alot? Is this thread going to turn in to the Chaos Breaker group-buy thread? lol
Haha exactly everyone here just put in 5 bucks and we could all get the game lol. But yes, it seems 32 bucks or so for jp psn cards are the cheapest way get dark awake (from play-asia.com) Imo, given the fighters that are currently out ill pay 32 bucks for this np.
had a dream it came out on the 4th because japan is a day ahead lol
It’ll be coming out at around midnight PST on the 5th.
Gonna play that shit all night until work in the morning
If anyone is buying Chaos Breaker/Dark Awake for PS3, I’ll go halfsies!
i’ll hit u up wednesday around midnight. hopefully there is good netcode /finger cross
I seriously want this game, but I don’t have enough money to buy a PSN card.
Would anyone be willing to share the game with me?
Has anyone found it for better than play-asia? Seems 32 bucks for 2 1000 yen cards is cheapest route. Unfortunetly, shipping costs + time to get your cards goes hand in hand with play-asia. Anyone found a better alternative?
Play-asia ends up emailing you the redeem codes in about 5 days. After you order them, they send out an email a couple days later asking if you want your codes through email, or mail. Say email. Voila.
I posted how to use them from this vid: http://shoryuken.com/media.php?do=details&mid=4835
*ignore what he says about not receiving them digitally from play-asia.
