It should have read; “I bet I can beat half the people in here who say they prefer HF and ST in both games, and guess what I play, CE!”
And then when it gets put on Youtube 15 years later, kids will be posting “lol, so corny! I hate the 00’s” comments.
Championship Edition, for sure. The fucking lousy character colors in Hyper sucked so bad, I thought I was playing an illegal version, and the speed increase was stupid. The game moved at a perfectly logical speed in the first place.
I guess some people like a game with 1 playable character.
There’s nothing in champion edition that makes it better unless you’re into slow pace game play.
So I guess you never played CE then?
Bison, Guile, Ryu and Sagat are all very good characters in CE. Ken, Dhalsim and Vega are ok aswell.
While I can appreciate what makes HF superior, the slowness of CE really does it for me. So I guess my perfect game would be playing HF but at CE speed and with CE damage.
hf, ce is just too slow for me.
and the balance issues, obviously.
CE is for people with slow reactions. I’m probably in the minority here but I actually like HF’s colors more.
CE’s dizzy system is better than HF’s, IMO.
CE is slower, less balanced and just plain not as fun as HF for me and ST is a bit faster and more combo oriented then HF with a better dizzy system IMO.

MORE match-up dependency in SF2 is a good thing?? The one thing that’s ever turned me off of SF2 is the fact that if I pick who I like rather than who’s solid, I will probably end up with some nearly unwinnable matchups against skilled players

personally never played either one since they came out and I was like 7 years old, only played them mashed up into anniversary edition and well, fuck CE. :lol:

If anyone has been keeping track on the Korean guys, you’ll know that they have had 6 big tournaments over last couple of years. A dhalsim player has won the last 2 tournaments iirc.
Also back in the day, Vega was considered a pretty good character, and got quite abit of play. Ken gets played abit too cause well, hes Ken.
Please lets be real, it is Bison and Bison then after that it is Bison. He dominates that game hands down, it is T4 Jin level stupid.
