which is superior in your opinion? and why?
HF, no braindead Bison
/end of thread
HF, it’s faster, more balanced, the new moves are FUN to spam…
etc, etc…
I also find HF better than ST.(Like many ppl in this forum.)
Only reason I’m asking is because I still see a lot of people still playing Champion Edition competitively. I don’t know, I always thought Hyper Fighting was superior but so much people playing Champion Edition makes me wonder if it was considered to be better.
I did not know that.
I would like Hyper Fighting more than ST if not for ST’s extra characters and mostly-fixing of the stupid dizzy system (I’m sorry, but you should not be dizzied by a single combo, and you should not get killed with three-hit combo into dizzy followed by the same combo into death; ST DeeJay is still stupid, but it’s not as prevalent a problem). On the other hand, HF definitely has more varied characters even though it has fewer (oh, to put Fei, Cammy, and Hawk in HF, not DeeJay because he’s just a second Guile), and it’s definitely more balanced, and it’s definitely more matchup-dependent, so it’s a close second for me.
i figured HF was a no-brainer answer. i, as well, like hf more than ST.
who plays CE? other than the korean guys on that ce stream? hell, who plays hf still?
I’ll still play both CE and HF. Both have their good points.
HF all day over CE. I think I like ST a little bit better than HF, but those two are pretty close to a toss-up for me.
All the people on XBL. It’s certainly not as serious as the golden days of HF, but there’s a lot of people that play it pretty religiously on there.
I’m playing XBLA Hyper Fighting right now, in fact.
Hyper Fighting and Super Turbo…its a tie for me.
Good to know that I’m not the only one.
Took the words outta my mouth.
You almost always get dizzy after 2 fierce/roundhouse hits and 100% after 3 so kens fierce DP does like 50% damage AND dizzys:wasted: Otherwise i love the game but i like ST a bit more cuz it’s faster n more combo oriented.

“SNES version is better than the arcade version, no lie!”
I can’t wait for my secret SF4 tape to come in the mail.
“It’s even better than the… oh yeah… there is no arcade version! Awesome!”
I bet more than half the people here that posted saying Hyper and ST is better.
I can beat in both games.
Guess what game I prefer… SF2 Champion Edition.
It’s a matter of preference.
Beating the CPU doesn’t mean much here buddy.
No mention of that in my post above.
So, what does “I can beat both games” mean?
