man… cfj/e showed up at ffa and got played for about 5 hours before people found broken things in it. now we use to hold our drinks while we play MvC2… =(
Are you sure that wasn’t the beta? last I heard, this game was being beta tested in american arcades, but COA had no plans for distribution for the final version… Anyhoo grabs pad, what did you find? I’ll test it out and letcha know if it works in the more complete home version.
Why the @^#& that the Alpha charactors play like A-groove CVS2 and the Bison has 2 super arts. This game has far more weirder stuff then that but I just wanted to get the ball started.

I think the roster’s a bit short, but it’ll do for now. I know I’m happy being able to finally play Karin and Guile in the same game.
Look, anyone trying to argue this game looks good (in a visual sense) is deluding themselves. It looks decent, at best, and that’s being generous. The test now is to see whether or not all that time Capcom spent with the loke tests was worth a damn or not.
If CFE proves its worth and balance in gameplay, then yeah, okay, I guess I can accept it (and other people will too).
If it looks bad and turns out to play bad, then no, it can go to the same pile along with SvC: Chaos.
We already know it looks bad, I think the game should be broken down to its component atoms as soon as possible so we can decide whether or not it’s worth playing. As much as I am loathe to admit it, now that I’ve spent more time with the game it does show some signs of handling decently, but this all is pending what sorts of broken shit people will find.
Well I doubt it can get any more broken than mvc2, everytime time I read srk there is some new glitch with the top tier chars, just today in fact I read CapCom AA hits twice if you do it right rolls eyes
Let’s not even get into that can of worms.
“Brokenness” doesn’t really matter anyways, IMO. Just make all the characters usable and in different ways, and you’ll have a balanced game.
You can do so in Alpha 3.

The game is good! if you play it for a while with some friends, and get over the fact that your favorite character is not exactly the way he was in X game… then you see the light…
