Well Gummo has a firmware build that does analog right now, it may suit your need as is. Otherwise there’s no ETA at this moment on getting it into the main build. Probably wouldn’t be too difficult to add in, it’s just a little low on the priority list at the moment.
so I used the stick I dual modded with this the other night with playstation allstars and the L2 and R2 buttons wouldn’t work but they work fine on all my other ps3 games. is there a reason this is happening or a way go fix it?
The question is… will Gummo share? j/k
Thanks for the info, though, and I might poke at him for some info then.
Looks like there’s a bug with the game and how it reads those inputs from a few different controllers. Let me do some exploration on it to see if I can potentially give a “PSAS mode” or something, but my guess is that since this seems to be a common thing with quite a few different brands of sticks you’ll see a fix in a game patch… possibly this upcoming one.
I just got my TTT2 S+ stick and I installed the cerberus on it.
Works perfect!! thanks a lot Phreakazoid for making such an awesome product.
You’re very welcome. Tell your friends!
I should have a restock coming up here, just need to get a hold of the fab house to get an ETA.
Will you ever get some more unassembled boards in stock?
Yes… sort of. Currently FA still has a few left that you can get in this form though.
The next run I’ve had the assembly house mount the top section of parts to make things easier on me with the assembled boards (the JST headers and such). The price for them won’t change on your end, it’s just not going to be completely unassembled this time.
Before I go ahead and do this one mod for my future brother in-law, will the Cerberus work with Macs?
I actually don’t know, I don’t have a Mac to test against to confirm/deny, but 360 forced mode will likely work.
Update:
New boards are in, I spent some time this weekend putting some together for a restock at FA and my own site. Unfortunately I pulled a stupid and when I went to process the board files I used the wrong file to do so. Luckily the only thing that is botched is the bottom designators, the silk screen still remains, see below:
This will only affect advanced users, since the top silk screen/labels are all picture perfect and have been improved upon since last build. The USB terminals are now labeled and there’s 1-6 markers by the JST headers for reference also.

The top shows the comparison between the previous build and new one. I will make a downloadable/printable image that has these designators for easy reference, they just won’t be ON the board this time, sorry guys.
The bottom just shows the updates, can’t see the terminal labels but the logo is cleaner and the numbers are there. The top stuff that’s shown is all assembled by the factory this time, making it a little easier on me to finish putting them together. When you get an advanced one, it will have that stuff on it… so cut it down to size or just use the terminals to your advantage. Advanced board (half assembled) still remains 30$.
One possible extra use is a cheap fix for a 360 TE that has a busted PCB. Just remove it and swap it with the half assembled one, and voila you have a working stick again. With a little fiddling you can get this to work with round 1/2’s for a fix also since it’s no longer reliant on attaching to another PCB.
So these are misprints? Maybe these will hold some value…like trading cards. lol
I’m sure this has been asked before but… is the the solderless Cerberus still solderless when you’re trying to connect the Remora Board’s power to it?
nope its not, there are solder points that you need to get. Either that or try cramming it in with the USB VCC and GND terminasl
I got mine in today and was looking for the instructions on the website but it’s down. A youtube search only pulls up one video that’s not in English. Does anyone have a reference video or can post the instructions again for me?
I’m using Google Chrome and I keep getting a “could not connect…” error message. Just tried another browser and I’m still having the same issue. Their site is the only one that I’m not able to connect to right now. Weird…
I’m using Chrome as well and it’s still working fine.
Try clearing your temp files and cache.
I can confirm now with out a doubt that the Cerberus is mac compatible and it completely plug and play.
Odd, let me know if you continue having this issue. I run firefox almost everywhere, try gahrling’s suggestion first.
