Damn that Obama, fucking up the works and stopping an honest man from building his castle. ugh.

insert 1st world problem meme here

The black man is always putting the rich white man down. I mean damn can’t a rich guy built his 90, 000 square home in peace.

lol at him making “all the right decisions”, yet not being able to budget or project his earnings well enough to keep up construction of his ludicrous house.

Wahh wahhh, shut the fuck up and pay your damn taxes. You live in this country you should have to contribute to it. Fucking idiot. Gotta love whiney-ass rich guys who complain like they’re the ONLY ONES who work hard and have to pay taxes cuz they were too dumb to hide the money and spent it on bullshit instead.

I saw them complaining about their shit in the newspaper a few weeks back. I kindly threw it in the garbage… Cause that’s pretty much all this is.

A CEO who believes that the best response to increased taxes on the company is reducing the company size (and potential revenue) is probably going to get ousted by the board.

am i the only person who thinks that the people with the real entitlement issues are the rich themselves?

I think it comes from people thinking in stereotypes:

-if you’re rich, you didn’t deserve it because you just got lucky and/or had rich parents
-if you’re poor, you are probably one of those people who abuse the welfare system and are lazy

Do people fit those stereotypes? Sure, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people who are rich because they worked hard and those who are poor that try to earn an honest living. Problem is when people who are in those stereotypes think that they’re one of the ones who aren’t:

-I’m rich because my parents gave me the company, but I earned the company (when they didn’t)
-I’m poor because it’s the system’s fault and that gives me the right to abuse it (when they’re just lazy)

Yes. Because they have no clue what the definition of the word “entitlement” is.

Rich people: we know you worked hard, but to think that just because you work hard for something that means that you can’t lose it is preposterous. The fact that you’ll blame other people for the same shit that we all undergo when the economy gets bad for made up reasons that have nothing to do with reality is even more ridiculous. What you fail to realize is that you’re subject to the very same things that we are: the person you buy stuff from charges you more because he had to pay for it and he’s not going to take the hit. There’s your trickle down economics.

Some tomfoolery with the markets makes a few choice stocks go down the shitter from the games those bastards play every day and someone’s belt’s gotta tighten, or else it’ll go BURP! So Edna in H.R. has to figure out which department can be amputated without entirely crippling the entire company, 'cause you know you can’t just cut an executive’s bonus. He’d probably go finagle another job with some other firm on the golf course one day, and there’s far too much company IP invested in those guys to ever allow that to happen. So they get their bonus, the mad fraction traders get their billion dollar rain of pennies, Tom in accounting gets his blue slip, and you sir, you billion dollar (that’s one thousand million dollars, for those who can’t visualize it) company owner, get to end the development of a house that costs three-hundred & thirty-seven times my salary and cry about it all because you worked so hard for all of it and it happens to be a black man that’s fore-running this hideous pageantry of penthouse peasants.

Gimme a break. You’re in this situation because some other billionaire with more arbitrary zeroes around his name did the same shitty thing to you that you’re now doing to your workers. boo hoo.

Turn them tuxedo pockets inside out. There just may be one last $10,000 bill in there, wadded up around a piece of lint. They still print those, right?

You just reminded me of the game monopoly. I don’t remember which card that was…totally unrelated but damn we need that pic…

This is all horseshit.

Your paycheck is not charity. His employees presumably work for their money. If he cuts them for whatever perceived taxes will be levied (on a franchise or retail business level this is minimal to none) then he is going to suffer himself.

Pieces of shit like him and Papa John are divorced from reality. Even if they were fortunate enough to “make it on their own,” they feel this broad sense of entitlement which is ludicrous. Papa John thinks that he deserves every cent he makes because he built his pizza empire from the ground up. I’m going to ignore the fact that he makes 1000x times the money a Physicist does. He doesn’t give a fuck about his employees who are at the bleeding edge of all this political talk we’re having.

Human nature is an ugly thing.

Someone should give that baby a glass of milk.

i feel threatened by the NDAA which obama signed.

as for taxes? i’d prefer a flat sales tax because i think income tax is wrong from a philosophical standpoint. that’s money i earned wtf. and all they do is power the bloated incompetent government (ever go to the DMV?) they even punish people who invest responsibly. i mean for fucks sake, they even tax interest on a savings account? why are they punishing people who save their money?!?! its bad enough they tax capital gains on stocks, but savings?!?! are you kidding me? disgusting. only consumption should be taxed, not responsible usage of money.

… wut? so you would prefer no tax on capital gains? you realize moving to a sales tax only system would be a collossal redistribution of the tax burden onto the lower and middle class seeing as how the richest among us spend on average a whopping 2% of their yearly income… so we could collect a fraction of 2% of their income…

the idea of a flat sales tax is the epitome of entitled rich people, as is no capital gains tax at all. Capital gains being taxed at a lesser rate than regular income is a sham in and of itself, so what you don’t work a day in your life, letting your money work for you and should get taxed at 0% while joe schmoe who is working construction his whole life should be taxed on nearly 100% of his income (the majority of americans have less than 1,000$ in savings, meaning they spend EVERYTHING they earn)… golly gee i don’t see the inequality there at all.

what a divisive prick

as i said in a previous thread, joe schmoes should just live within their means. americans have less than 1k in savings because they are materialistic and spend all their money. kinda like all those poor people who bought houses they couldn’t afford at 0% down with a 5 year ARM and brought about the collapse of the subprime mortgage. all the chinese families including mine who came to america were DIRT POOR. minimum wage poor. but my parents just saved and saved and didn’t spend money recklessly. people like that should not be punished. theres no reason interest in a savings account should be taxed. that’s terrible and immoral.

income tax didn’t even exist until after 16th amendment. they had tried before but it had been shut down. since then government has just wanted more and more, gotten more and more bloated. the current tax code is a bloated piece of shit as a result. it should be simplified.
