I just want to warn everyone about the hotel Room TV’s. They are all old school SDTV’s with the cover on the back so you can’t connect systems to it. I know from experience they are easily movable with finesse but be very careful.
I just suggest bringing your own setup if possible. I wish they’d upgrade to LCD’s by now but just wanted to warn you guys before you found out the hard way.

I had to do it CEO 2011 to be first official US Major for SSF4 AE.
AE Will be the version of Super at CEO this summer even though it just comes out a few days earlier my friends.
I think it’ll make it more exciting since pretty much everyone says they’re bored of Super and are playing Marvel now so having AE over Super at CEO has more benefits then it does bad effects. I hope you all are ok with this.
Big move to switch it to AE, but I think it’s the right choice.

This is probably the obvious choice. Sucks, though, because if released as timely as promised, the game will have been out for 3 days, 2 if you count the fact that PSN (not sure about XBOX Live) won’t update their store until later in the day. So this means that those who don’t have that version already are going to fall behind those from New York, Cali, and Japan. These guys are already typically the better players in the world anyway.
Fortunately, this game will also be sold as a hard copy, so that means hackers, and we all know at least one, will have the game weeks in advance anyway. Hopefully this is the case. Those who are from the regions I mentioned before will have already had the game months and months before we do. I hope we can have at least a week to practice the intricate nuances that take the game from Super to AE
But, then again, I’m just nobody.
I saw on TZ that the TN crew is confirmed along with a good number of NY players. The turnout for Tekken is looking better and better!!
Another point to make. MvC3 came out one week before Winter Brawl did, and that tournament had 200+ people still show up and enter. This is the right thing to do for the community. Nobody will care about Super if they come for a Super tourney, AE will be what everyone wants to play.
You guys will have over 24 hours of casual time to play AE at CEO before pools even start, At least I’m doing my best to give everyone tons of practice time.
Not like anyone was gonna really hit the Super Lab until the week of the event anyways.
Sad truth is whether it was Super or AE, 95% of the top 16 would be the same people. Make best of what you got and prepare with videos and such so you’re ready to jump right in once it’s out. And make the most out of CEO being the First AE major so you can level up before EVO.
I know CEO will be played on XBOX, which is completely fine by me. I have a question, though. Don’t XBOXs prevent you from using DLC when you’re not connected to the internet? I stated before that I don’t have an XBOX, so I’m personally not sure. But I know this is the case when trying to use DLC costumes and whatnot. This will obviously cause problems if such is the case. Just thought I’d bring it to the attention of the board and Jebailey
Not if it’s downloaded directly to the first owner of the XBOX so it won’t be a problem. If I’m wrong on this then someone please correct me.
From an Xbox Forum- As stated above… if you play it on the Xbox you purchased it with, then you don’t need to be online. To play it on a different Xbox, you need to be online and logged into the account that purchased it.
So again it’s a non issue if the Original Owner of the XBOX has the DLC downloaded already. It’s only if you try redownloading DLC to a friend’s Xbox through your account and what not.
