you should definitely ask Senkei or something about it since i just moved back here from gainesville and i’m not entirely sure who still plays/anyone new started playing (he might be able to give you a head count for bb too)
Yes were looking to have tons of space leftover for casuals and setups. Tables Do cost 8 bucks each to rent so we definitely want to have a good idea of how many to get for the event without going overboard.
If any of you GG or Blazblue guys can get in touch with your communities and stir some interest let me know and well go from there.
I’m open to anything within reason for this event so that we do not lose money as it looks like I will personally be paying out of pocket for most of the venue before hand.

People from out of state also planned to attend with the pot for MvC2. I can bring the DC, I’d like to see this go down in someway. The last tourney you had had it on a friday night and no one showed until the next day when people to commute they would like to have a tourney then but all of Orlando wasn’t around. Make it happen, AJ.
I’ll make it happen if you can find out who was planning to come just for MvC2. I’ll even setup brackets but you would have to bring the setups and Tvs if it’s on DC. Otherwise it’ll be on Xbox 360. I can’t add any bonus pot as I’m fronting the entire venue fee(Around 2200 up front as an act of faith in the community coming together (with the help of Plank who is getting the insurance that we need for the space which will cost a couple hundred bucks).
So I’m listening and am open to host all the games that we possibly can. I’ll be updating the first post with a pretty good idea of the times for each tournament game so people can plan ahead.
As of now The official Games with Official Start times(TBD) will be as follows:
Super Sf4 on xbox
Tekken 6 on ps3
Mvc2 on Xbox 360
HDR on Xbox 360
I will be adding Checkboxes on the pre reg page which will soon be finalized for such games as SC4, GG, Melting Blood and other games just to see if there is a true interest for those games. If you guys that are on those respective forums could post there linking back to here I would really appreciate it.
If we get 16 entrants to pre reg for any of those other games, I will make them an official tournament on the front page. Otherwise They will be impromptu tourneys on the day of the events.
So in short. If we see 16 people for certain games Pre reg, then They will be added to the first post. If not just come and get some casuals with others and start on the fly tourneys for said games.
That’s fine with the pot, if anything, I’ll try to contribute a lil something extra. As far as people, the main heads that were coming for SFIV who play MvC2 would have played as well. I would think the regs from Tampa (The ‘Crew’) and Miami (Ozzie, Flash, Garvin) would be here, plus if J-ville and Jax (Brandon, Jeff) are coming, them as well. I can’t confirm from anyone out of state but those who posted in the GAMME with non-refundable tix, them too. Also, if you can add a poll for MvC2 (since GAMME had it for DC) for those who plan on playing to see if DC would be prefered or XBOX. I personally don’t mind either way as I have a stick for either or. Least this time there is enough time for flexiblity since we’re slightly under a month. Cool?
It’s gonna be on Xbox 360 as I feel that’ll bring more people. I added it to the pre reg page here which I’m still finalizing with details before people start using it.
Most likely Marvel will start Saturday at 4 pm.
I’m probably going to make flyers for this event and put them around Orlando.
This will break 100, maybe 150 people EASILY. So many communities are contributing to this, its almost Scary!!!

Jebaily, NSM (brawl player) updated our registration site to include all the games that have been anounced so far, as well as their respective prices, payouts and other details. It might be easier just to do ALL Pre-Reg on this site:
But if you still think its better you can go ahead and do a separate pre reg.

From the looks of it, we have DOZENS of top melee players attending this, and I’m sure a lot of OOSers for the other fighting games have already taken an interest into this.
