i didn’t see a checkbox for ssf4 teams on the pre-reg page, is that tourney still going down?
Yes. However since people never really know their Teams until the day of, We’ll just hold off. I’m planning to have the Team Tourney on Sunday starting around 1 pm. So I’ll announce on Saturday as a reminder for people to find their teams.

Tomorrow Morning at 9 am. I meet with the Fairgrounds to check out and secure the venue
And 2 I’m talking with a couple hotels and will let everyone know by tomorrow evening if I can get any special group rates. If not I will list all the best choices for nearby Hotels.

so jebailey are you working on a schedule. i want to know if i have to come for both saturday and sunday.
Schedule is Pretty Set on being this.
Saturday Will be Super SF4 Singles(Start it NO LATER Than 2 pm, Marvel(4pm),HDR at 6 pm T6/SC4 both starting around 3 pm(Smash is running both days). Depending how quickly things are fun I will try to have all the finals run at once around 9-10 pm on the projector screen one after the other to help build up Hype. I can plan this better a week before after we get a good count on pre regs.
Sunday will be Super 3v3(Start at 2), Melty Blood, GG and whatever other games may pop up.
I plan on having Super finished by Saturday night.
It looks like We’ll have nearly 15-20 Setups(At least 12 have been GUARANTEED For SUPER) so even with 100-150 people we could finish all of that within 8 hours or so.
That way on Sunday we can break down the Super Setups and have casuals for every other type of game possible.I’ll update the first post by tomorrow with all these times I’ve designated.
CEO seems fine by me, it’s a lot less typical “tourney-name-y” than Redemption, and I think it’s more of a forward-looking name. It’s less stuck on the failure-to-launch of GAMME and looks more to building something for the future off a more realistic foundation (no 4-digit pot bonus + every game known to man + mini-convention on the side).
Keep pre-registering, people, we can really do something with this event if people give it a chance!

Nah, CEO is solid. 10,000 sq ft is HUGE. Everybody’s gonna get to play tons of casuals.

I can bring a 360 setup, TV and all. SSF4 and/or HDR, I would prefer to do SSF4 so you can guys can unlock all my colors for me xp. Also, is anyone making any flyers for this? I can post up at my job, since i know alot of gamers here. I would like to send a mass email, but I know they wont allow me to do that. So, let me know if you have anything done for advertisement or if you need anything done, I may be able to work something out.
I could use some help on the flyer front. Something simple that gets them to this page for all the information and such. The more help the marrier. So much space to fill up I don’t want anything going to waste.

GoogleMyName, in the rules section, I believe you did not specify whether winners and loser are allowed to switch characters between rounds. Also, in the first post, adding prizes/pot split as well as information regarding behavior would be a good idea.

you can also use bit.ly or w/e web services that shorten links into small sizes, but i don’t know how long they last as a link though, but at least it’s enough to hold on until the day of the tournament
