Just stopped out at PC 2 weekends ago, and… there it was… in all it’s glory.

Sorry to double post (been 2 days :p)- quick question:
Are there any local (to central pa) stick builders that are taking orders? I’m looking at Arcade In A Box at this point (for a few weeks down the line) but if i can get a custom thing done, i’d prefer that. Any help would be great 
(or are there any talented stick builders running around here that you can point me to, for talks of custom work)

Well shit, looks like we (wife and kid) will be heading to Hershey on saturday. However, i might see about sliding out there (hell, Wife®’s interested to see me play some real people too… so ‘convincing’ might not be that difficult heh).

I’m currently trying to set up matches at a local comic book shop. Let me know if you’re interested… it’s in York, Pa.
I’d be interested in some offline gaming on Sundays or Mondays mainly (my days off). If you can get some interest going I’d show up and I’m pretty sure MasterofKing would be interested as well.
I posted on STORMS post as well, but Sundays and Mondays are good for offline time if you might be interested. I’m willing to travel a bit to play.

hey im not sure what you guys got going on in pa(outside of philly) but out here in baltimore Md we got a pretty decent spot wit some notable players that come though fairly often.
i know from york to baltimore its about a 45 minute drive , so what you guys should do is start coming down to xanadu in baltimore md on wednesday for our ranbats.

Ok, this is a far off idea, and probably a poor one at that, but i must ask,
How many SRKrs have kids? Or significant others (not specifically gamers?)
Reason: I’d like to set up a ‘family fun day’ somewhere, sometime that people can get together and just play all day, but have an area for non-gamers and children to have a good time too.
I’m a huge fighting fan, w/ a wife that wants to learn (getting a stick for her soon. w00t), and an 8month old boy that LOVES watching MvC and smacking the stick around… but if i want to do any ‘serious’ play, its online, or against the computer… and i’ve got a massive hunger for pass-n-play matches.
Should i look into setting up something like this? Do you have friends that would be in for it? (i have a couple, just looking for more ;))
The idea isn’t ONLY for people w/ non-gamers/kids… it’s a place we can all get together to play, but keep the non-players we love so much, out of our collective hair

Depending on the day and time, I’d be up for something like that. I don’t have any kids myself but game time is always good.
