Hey Trampy & co. - You ladies still planning on hitting up the MidWest Championships? It’s about 10 days away you know? Friday June 16 - Sunday June 18. MvC2 is Friday starting at 7pm, while 3S qualifiers start Saturday at 12 noon, then a re-entry tournament for last two spots, and the final eight players finish things off Sunday at 12 noon.
Sadly I’m going to miss the SSF2T tournament cuz it’s Friday at 3pm, but oh well, I’m sure I’ll get plenty of fun matches in. If any of you play, be sure to return the favor and challenge me. It’s only fair after I plunked in several bucks playing y’all at Marvel that one Saturday night. Hahaha.

I greatly prefer SC3 personally, mostly because it added a certain character I really liked, and I really liked the stages the best in the series. I’ve played it more than SC2 despite owning SC2 much longer.
Well, what kind of hurts SC3 is that the game wasn’t in the arcade for a period of time, since that’s when Namco normally hears about the glitches and fixes them, and assures they are not a problem in the console version.
hi guys…new to the thread…im a mexico player thats going up to kendallville for a job offering i got…so im gonna be up there for about six months and want to know if there are any 3rd strike players in the surrounding areas (after seeing mapquest im seeing the only normal sized cities in that area are gonna be South Bend and Fort Wayne)…or any arcades that have a 3rd strike…or whatever ^____^

Anybody else playing alpha anthology? It seems pretty good so far.
im throwing a tounament to see who the best is in indiana. after having a slight altercation with a certain ohio player i have decided to see who the best in indiana is so that we can issue a formal challenge to team OHIO.
there’s no more room for smack talking. it will soon be time to put up or shut up. i expect responses from all of the indiana crews. Fort Wayne, Indy, Purdue, IU, Northwest and etc.
p.s. some finer details. we will be playing on console. every possible accomidation will be made when playing so there are no disputes. i know some people that blame either the machine they are playing. the stick is too loose, the stick is too tight, this button sticks, theres not enough room, blah blah blah. Also some people “can’t” play on stick. there will be no excuses.
galleon and fuji- the video game community is a friendly place. shit talking goes on all the time, but to disrespect someone to their face thats just uncalled for. you don’t tell people that their team is “garbage” and that my team cant touch yours. and its even worse when i when the very next match. Also, dont accuse people of blaming equipment for poor play. I said that im better on pad, and you accused me of complaining about the stick when i was simply stating a fact. you said that i can’t blame using a stick or a pad for losing, when thats what your buddy fuji was doing. Plus, you were the one who was complaining about the sticks in the 3s tournament. so i just thought that i should highlight that.

so asside from the team ohio vs. team indiana matches. Briaden and I challenge you and fuji in a team match. we’ll play 3s super turbo mvc2 we’ll even play 3d fighters if you want. tekken, sc3 whatever. you can take your pick of any 3 games. we will play you for whatever amount of money you want.

we will fight you in real life for free. and if you wanna do both then even better. its all fun and games until people start being hypocritical and insulting.

If I challenged Brent to ST or CvS2 and he beat me, I wouldn’t cry and make a thread about it on the intarweb, because I already know I suck at it and don’t play it at all, ever. Bottom line is you got ya ass graced in marvel son. Everyone that knows me knows I dont play in arcades or on a stick at home. You got me by 4 fri night and I responded with good shit when It was all said and done. When I was at nickels the next day trying to learn how to play on a stick you came over and took a beaten against my first attempt playing in an arcade. From that point I told my boy that if we played again at the hotel and I used scrub with a pad…you were DONE.
So when hotel time comes around I pick scrub cause I knew mine was better then yours easy. Then you start acting suprised and mad cause you getting scraped like thats not suppose to happen to you and complaining about trap teams. Nigga the score was 7-1 convincingly when your own boy told you that you were not able to do well with your team that I said was WEAK. So what did you do…you pick sent,bh,doom…thats when I go back to msp cause its a challenge for me…your scrub…no challenge at all…didnt you see how relaxed I was? Then I started getting at that weak team too with msp. You say the final was 10-8…You got downgraded and didnt even know it. The score was worse then that son.

secondly, i didn’t get mad about losing. i was frustrated at myself because i was making mistakes that i shouldn’t have been making. im not taking away from any of fuji’s wins. he won and i lost… overall. what makes it sound like im crying? i’m having a tournament for everyone in indiana to get together, play, and see who’s the best so that we can go to your tournament and represent. It has nothing to do with the matches between fuji and i. that was adressed at the end of my post.

Hey Panda & Fugee (Vince & Robert)…I don’t know what will happen with this new found rivalry for you both but come on dudes, leave the fisticuffs out and leave the slang it’s like a racial slur but it’s not really bullshit out of the way. And Chris and I would whoop ya both in a team spelling bee so shaddap already.
Just to clear a few things up…I don’t think Panda totally sucks with the team in question. I know he was certainly outmatched in a mirror match of that team on Saturday night but I’m not going to totally erase him from having any chance of winning. Admittedly I found it ironic and almost comical that as soon as Fugee proclaimed he could never lose to Panda with that matchup that he immediately lost, and honestly there were a few matches that went down to the wire.
NOW, I think any IN/OH team tournaments need to be left out of this. If your competition to decide who is better between Panda & Fugee at MvC2 comes down to Briaden playing Chris at SSF2T, then guess what? THAT is what truly SUCKS!!! Keep things in perspective and just keep playing each other at MvC2 when you meet once or twice a year. And play with your best teams. Hopefully pad vs. pad. That makes sense to me anyway.
Also to me, I just felt like the trash talking was too hardcore for the both of you meeting for the 1st or 2nd time ever. I love to see how bad I can annoy everyone with non-stop talking that goes hours at a time, but dang I don’t even feel comfortable with it right away usually. Let me know the other dude for a month or something. You guys just came in throwing verbal haymakers without any of the romantic foreplay to set it up…in a trash talking kind of way. Panda, I heard you talking at Fugee a few times when you would kill one of his characters with Sentinal supers or whatever. You guys don’t know each other at all and you were playing for maybe the 1st time. You both aren’t ready for that yet. Fugee, I know you both were already in the heat of battle and had already missed your turn on Friendship Avenue a few roads (matches) back but it even irked me a tad when you told him to his face in a matter-of-face way that he’ll never beat you in the scrub mirror match. That was also uncalled for.
I feel weird, almost caught in the middle of it all. I certainly was in the middle of it that weekend. After Friday when Panda won those matches I told Chris the following day at the arcade that I was real curious how you (Fugee) would respond to it. I guess it basically ended up in more matches back at the hotel again Satuday and you got some payback but along with payback came lots of trash talking from both sides. I don’t know if this is just a by-product of you winning but to me anyway it just seemed like things didn’t get this out-of-hand when Panda was winning the night before because there wasn’t so much trash talk. In fact I think you immediately wanted to play him for a nice chunk of money before either of you even picked up the controllers. In the end I guess you would have ended up even anyway cuz he would have taken your money Friday, while you got it back Saturday. I don’t see why money was even brought up but if that’s something you both agree to then whatever. It sounds like Panda is coming to the party and Fugee isn’t. It’s understandable. Perhaps the big showdown will take place in October over in Ohio somewhere between the two of you. I am going to take the high road and focus on SSF2T (hopefully it’s a part of the tournament) and 3S.
Panda, as far as your Indiana tournament to see where we all rank in the games and gather interest for the Ohio tournament, I think that’s a great idea. I call SSF2T. I think Milan needs to get himself back into the scene and face down Sherman for the right to see who is best at Tekken 5. Gary and Dave might have something to say with who ends up being the 3S master. Floyd would love to win MvC2 and so would Panda. Where does Briaden fit in? Hmmmm…tough to know until we get something cool like this going.
