Rodolfo, if you’re serious about opening up an arcade, I’d be happy to invest in it. I’ve worked for Nickels and Dimes (the company that runs tilt arcades and ITZ family fun centers) for nearly 5 years working my way from game room attendant to District Manager of the state of new mexico.

I want to go far with street fighter. I still have school and etc as a priority but I’ve also taken some classes off to get more practice in while keeping my life priorities together. I can’t make it unless I have support, so I’m asking if Rodolpho or anyone will be willing to support me as a person and player. I understand I’m not very good at SFIV, but I can assure you that I can and more importantly, will do what it takes to become better. In a simple sentence, I want to go pro. If you guys could help me out I would appreciate it and reply to this. I don’t want to do this only for my own gain, but for us as a team to get acknowledged. I would host, but I have to be in bed pretty early cause I still work Saturday…need to get a few rounds in with my garbage ass honda (GAH). I have been working on HHS a lil based off of Ian’s advice, I can get it a bit more now, but it’s still not 100%, but I’m slowly working on it. Also how do ppl get the b+rh to combo? I can’t seem to get it, even after an EX HHS. I think I’ve learned a few more oicho setups, and I still need to work tick throws…ugh stupid tick throws

Yo whats good with this running a tournament the same day as mine and then turn around and say it wont be big yet you were the 1st post saying you were coming. Check this out. If you want to do business with me dont step on my shoes. My tournament was announced wayyy before your tournament. Dont come in the thread disrespecting saying why am I getting 20+ people. Check the results thread and you will see I get 100+ players every tournament. Dont try to start no rivalry on hosting tournaments cause Im already established. My results are proven. We are here to grow the community not force the players to choose which tournament to go to because 2 tournaments are being ran the same day. Do what u want to do but just keep all that bs away from me and my thread…

I’m not really going to say anything about your game, but I think you should be able to see what you did wrong. Sorry if I was kinda bad during the last games, but I realized we were playing online so I switched from caring about winning to analyze you and I found out a great deal about footsies and the different types of them. That is the reason why you got me with so many sweeps, that and I under estimated the distance. I also realized a few more things, but what does anybody care.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it . . . why? Why should I learn a BnB combo that can’t be done reliably on the controller I’m using anyway? Isn’t that just a waste of time? The instant I screw up said combo, I lose half of my life anyway.
Demarcus just kicked my ass, not because I didn’t use BnB combos, but because I got bested by baiting tactics, grabs, and random cross-ups. THOSE are what I should be focusing on learning, both how to do them reliably and how to properly defend against them.
I’ll do the BnB combos when I get a new controller; until then, I’m not gonna bother. >_>

Yeahhh this is also what develops your style for that character, so do what works like Steve said. In the end, a win is a win and it’s something you can be proud of.
