Luken: I dont really compare anybody with anybody, but Viet is the only Ryu in Texas and probably in the southwest region that can give me trouble. Makes me think twice on how i play Ryu, he option selects everything…:wonder:, but we should get in some games soon as well, i wanna see your ryu :tup:

We had some pretty bad news at the clinic today, so for now, I will not be hosting until further notice. This is to respect my wife for all she is going through… that and our last electric bill was more than I use to play when I was in Cali!!

i found it easier to “mash” lp lp lp lp+lp+mp. as im waiting for hands to finish i do lp lp, then lp that hits them then two punches.
thats lp x 2 that is hidden in the last hits of ex hands/dash/jump attack. then one lp that hits and the two punches. it’s getting easier ever time.
give it a try and lemme know. cuz if i can do it you two can do it.

I have recently started option selecting and it has served me well. Especially against Bison’s who like to wake up with EX Head Stomp or EX Psycho Crusher, they eat an SRK everytime. Also Dhalsim’s that like to teleport on wake up. If I catch that limb and I have super you will eat it from full screen. I can’t wait to get some games in with you. I have been working on the Dhalsim match up so this will be good experience. Also I played Arturo Sanchez over Xbox Live and his Dhalsim peed on me so I want to challenge him again with better match up knowledge and experience.

Yeah, his Dhalsim is top tier. I watched his Daigo money match, first to five. I don’t think I have ever met a Ryu or Dhalsim player who plays the same. Everyone has their own ‘style’ or strategy. I’ve even seen some aggressive Sim players too!
I’m game to play anyone, with anyone. I prefer more Ryu match ups though
I played Arturo today, he hovered over Sim, then counter picked with ryu, raped me and that was the end…

I just really wanted a general comparison, I don’t care if you guys told me my Ryu is trash compared to his. It’s not really the play style I was looking for, but more of… Are his reactions better than mine, does he adapt better. I understand where you guys are coming from. My Ryu has just went up two levels after watching Valle play and listening to his tips about footsies. (Seriously)

damn…i’m falling so far behind…i’m just gonna play when i get the chance…everyone is able to get there tips and what not…as for Sean and I we work 4 days and get 4 days off…and on my days off i don’t always want to SF it…so i dont know guys…i think it might come to the point where i am going back to just casual playing for SF 4 again…

Chris don’t lose hope. Someone once told me the last person to notice improvement is you. (actually I think the person who told me that was you…weird) anywho keep hope alive and practice in your spare time. Also keep in mind just cause you lose more matches then you win doesn’t mean your not improving. I lose more matches than I win but those wins they get don’t come easy.
