I’ve been doing nothing but watching hours of the replay of buktooth’s Doom/Wesker/Chun team. Here I’ll just post the links.
Parts 1-5. You’ll be trying to look for parts where he gets his ass whupped. LOL.

very nice…to be honest i didnt even know you could connect sphere flame directly after the fourth j.M.
It’s difficult. You have to do the fourth j.M very, very close to the ground. It’s easiest if you do the first and third j.M’s immediately after leaving the ground.
so its basically the same timing as just doing c.M and c.H after the fourth j.M?
Basically yeah. Try to buffer the DP motion before you land so you just need to hit :atk::atk: when you land. It’s a very tight window.
i just tried it and its pretty much the same timing. if you messed up the setup for the whole loop leaving out c.M and c.H wont cut it. sad cause i tend to mess up sometimes midscreen…XD thanks for the info though
edit: on second thought it seems as if its okay if you keep the opponent a little to high fir the last c.M>c.H and can still connect the sphere flame. maybe a little room for errors there
:d::l:, :d:, :d::h:, :s:, jump, j.
, j.:f::h: xx :df:Air-dash, j.
, land, :d::h:, :s:, jump, j.
, j.:f::h: xx :df:Air-dash, j.
, land, :d::h: xx :dp::atk::atk:
Pretty much the same combo but MUCH easier i find. This is the combo i use.

Sorry for the crap quality. I only noticed after I did the recording and uploaded that DOH! the health bar for Ryu isn’t showing. The combo does around 99% of Ryu’s health though, and I’m sure some of you DOOM masters can squeeze in more hits/assists throughout this to get the 100%.
Does this combo only work midscreen? I spent about an hour trying to hit it in the corner and getting pissed off with the results. Then I tried it midscreen and got it pretty consistently
Yeah that’s his normal mid screen loop. He has a corner loop that you can easily do 3 times that requires even less execution (no air dashing at all) and does even more damage.
I dont know where to post these videos but can someone give me pointers on my Doom? Here are a few matches from a recent tournament. The guy I lost to I play quite often so he knows pretty much what I would do nevertheless I should have played much safer. also, I tend to burn x factor if it will kill a character early especially if i dont like the character. In the semi finals I freaking look at the wrong bar and it cost me big time but in the other game I hate akuma so i just freaking burn it.
I dont like the team that I used here. I really only use Haggar as a crutch because my corner defense sucks and I really rely on the assist too much. also i’m not great at the loop but I dont know what I should choose to transition into when trying to finalize the loop. I guess i will look into sphere flame or doom chair a little more often.
I can play sentinel (lul) and hulk (lul) but I dont know where I would make those changes on my team too if recommended.

When you can’t get in that easily, don’t feel like you have to get back in right away when you escape the pressure. Doom has great ranged tools, especially against characters with poor/no projectiles like Chun Li. If you find it difficult to get in, play the ranged game. Smack him with a few :qcf::h: 's and some isj.:qcb::l: 's, and let them TRY to come to you. It doesn’t work too well with some characters.
Also, you might want to mix up better off of your j.:f::h: with either adf j. (two hits), adf j.
(one hit) j.
(no hits) :d::l:, and addf :d::l:. It will keep your opponent on their toes as to weather you’ll hit high twice, high once/low once, or straight low off of your j.:f::h:.
You might also want to think about using iaddf and iaddb for some added mobility since Doom’s dash is pretty dumb. It can add an element of mix-up if applied properly, since a “predicted” iaddf can become an iadfj. pretty suddenly. It allows you a high/low mix-up on approach, and you can always use iaddb for added trixies.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong on any of this though.

Enlighten me…?
I posted better loops in the combo thread. He can almost reach 1 million damage with just 1 bar and no X-factor.

His official “reveal” trailer.
Idunno what he’s talking about, but I find that doing c.:l:>c.>c.:h:>[:s:>j.
>:f:+:h:>:s:>:d::d:>s.:h:] x 3 into :dp::atk::atk: does around 750k iirc and is stupidly easy to do. But that has a downward air dash in it so I don’t think that’s what he was talking about…
