What’s a good way to get the TK Fly to get as low as possible?

I hit :s: as soon as I move the stick to :u:

Here’s an update on what I’ve found so far against pushblock:

Pushblock against the first :m:, pushes Doom back but because of the timing on the setup :h: footdive is already moving forward. Gives Doom the chance to jump up and throw against non air dashers. If they can air dash up Doom can chase while they can’t block. If you suspect they will try to tech the throw attempt you can do s.:l: into Hard Kick. If they attempt to block, throw.

If they pushblock the foot dive the j.:l: into air dash comes immediately after putting them back into stun. On some body types Doom can actually cross back up to the other side if they pushblock immediately creating interesting situations with assist. Right now I know it crosses back up on Strange but I haven’t been able to do it against Cap. When done with a late pushblock Doom stays in the corner. In both scenarios Doom lands before the opponent. May be possible to get a throw due to the low block stun from the j.:l:. Left/Right not looking possible without jumping back up anyhow so assist setups recommended.

Lastly is pushblocking the j.:l:. It pushes Doom to the corner, in some cases right next to the opponent, but either way leaves the opponent in the air and within range to be air grabbed. Curious as to how this would work with an assist like Vajra or Jam Session. Maybe it could even create some air untechables or possibly, depending on timing, fast left right mixups.

I will try my best to create another video demonstrating this but right now I’m literally recording and then trying on to defend on pad as I have no on else at the moment to help me test in a way that I can properly react to and record properly.

How do you block the air sequence? Do you just block the first m non-crossup then let go for autoblock?

Yeah. The mixup is the latter part since everything in the beginning connects in series. I really am trying to find someone to help me record but having no luck with scheduling here :sad:

So yea, that mix-up at 18:04. Not sure if this is new, but I’ve never seen that before. The commentator gave a shoutout to sage(whoever that is), so I’m guessing he made it up.

Good stuff man, thanks for the guide. I need to improve my incoming mix-ups with doom(especially solo ones) so this will prove helpful going forward.

What’s going on in that mix up? I have no idea.

Most sensible explanation I’ve heard is dash into the corner, st.H, launch. The video makes it looks wonky because it’s not 60 fps so we’re actually not seeing everything that’s happening. (there are skipped frames)
