Come 2014 I wonder what the market will be like. Will most third party publishers move on and we end up with the same watered down ports like we did this generation on the Wii or will things be magically divided up perfectly and everyone will have a WiiU and the new PS/Xbox.

I also am a big fan of the WiiU’s potential for gaming more so than any other gimmicky upgrade for gaming ever. A second screen can be SO useful for so many games. So many Strategy games or RPGs could really benefit from the second screen.

I’m gonna keep praying that the game isn’t butchered by Wii-U exclusive gimmicks, the fighting engine remains deep and that the universe and satire remains true to the original. BUT MAN… IT’S SO SAD TO SEE THIS STUPID EXCLUSIVE SHIT!!

I mean… I’ve already lost Castlevania (sort of), Megaman and DMC already… =’/

I can’t honestly dish in $650 for a game. Yup, that’s how much the combo Wii U + Bayo 2 would cost here. In some parts of the world gaming is mad expensive. =/

Word on that, buying a console here in my country is mad expensive, just buying a wiiu + bayo would cost me without a doubt something around $650 to $700, importing it would be only slightly less expensive, like between $500 to $600

True but that’s not the fault of Nintendo or any of the parties involved really. PG just had poor funding and didn’t have enough capital to support the project and obviously Sony and Microsoft weren’t available for aid. I would just be glad it’s seeing the light of day.

Playing Bayo on Wii controls does sound like booty though.

buy the wii u, i dont give a shit, I just don’t like that the only big game aside from GTA5 that im looking forward to is now on a console that I don’t see in my near future and that could have been done on the systems we already have now. ( also in the wii’s launch period, assassins creed 3, arkham city, nba 2k13, tekken tag 2, darksiders 2, madden 2k13, trine 2, ninja gaiden 3, sega racers all games already released on the current gen of systems outside of assassins creed 3)

From a business standpoint this is a smart move. From a “fuck I hate Nintendo standpoint but I didn’t really care too much about Bayonetta” standpoint, I’m totally indifferent.

The idea of a DS on my TV sounds okay-ish. But modern Nintendo and I don’t get along…

Did Sega own the IP and sell it or did Platinum just get impatient waiting for their Rising paypuh, that’s what I want to know. It really sounds like they’re comprising for the sake of money and the game might suffer for it anyway. It’s not like they couldn’t have put Bayonetta 1 on the Wii if they really cared, look at MadWorld. It wasn’t there for a reason, does this mean my hope of a Vanquish sequel is going to be WiiU exclusive too? Not sure if I even care at that point.
