To this day Perfect Dark remains the only M-rated Nintendo published game that has ever been even remotely successful. Bayonetta 2 is not going to change that trend as its status as a hardcore action fighter with an anime plotline and extreme difficulty narrows its audience to a considerable niche. It has much less mass appeal than an FPS.
I never said it was exclusive to Gamecube, or that it was kiddie. I said it was one of the mediocre action titles on the system.
