I hope this sneaks its way in somehow.

Ummm no. I can tell for FACT that Godhand sold like crap cause Capcom didn’t market that game for shit. I saw zero commercials in the US for this game nor did I see advertisements on websites or magazines at the time. It was the same thing to an extent with Okami but I factor with that game it was more so cause it was something vastly different at the time.

Madworld had the unfortunate circumstance of being exclusive on the Wii. Dumbass mistake. Bayonetta is the only one that sold decently well and I think if Platinum handled the PS3 port it would’ve sold even more.

Bayonetta 2 will sell decently well BUT I guarantee it’ll get a PS3/360 port.

That makes you crazy

Yes it will and no it wont

That’s just what happened to me with the Gamecube and Bloody Roar.

The reason so many are upset about this Nintendo exclusive is most likely because everyone here already own a PS3 or a 360. But if I was buying a consol right now I would chose Wii U because it has already prooved that it will get the best third party titles (COD, Assassin’s creed, Arkham City) and will add something unique to them with the Game pad functionality. But on top of that they will have the most interesting exclusives with all those Nintendo games as well as great off-line multi-player games. Nintendoland might look childish but I am sure games like that will bring the same kind of fun that GoldenEye and Mario Kart brought back in the days before online gaming.

I agree with what some people said about Wii. It didn’t have too many mature games (even though I liked MadWorld and No More Heroes). But there is already more than 5 games announced that I want to get my hands on already, with Wii U, and it is just getting started.

But for those who hate Nintendo but love Bayonetta: Can’t you just borrow the game and consol from someone?

Eh… what? I’m poor by most peoples standards. I own all three consoles. Purchased them myself over time. I bought an RRoD 360 for cheap a few years back, paid MS the $100 to “repair” it and got a brand new console that worked for under $150. My PS3 was a craigslist score. My wii? Purchased it on launch for $250. Probably the best $250 I’ve ever spend, actually. It had many great titles, and I spent more time on it than I did on my Xbox or PS3. No More Heroes, Madworld, Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Metroid, TvC, Okami, Xenoblade, and quite a few others, not to mention the virtual console and wiiware library(fluidity was a personal favorite). The Wii U has attracted a lot of interest, and sadly I wasn’t able to score one at launch due to preorders selling out in my area, but I’ll be picking one up ASAP once I get the funds.

I may not have a 1000+ game library, but I’ve got all the consoles, and the games that count. Although, I’ve already decided, the Wii U is the only next gen console I’ll be buying, not because of money, but because I’ve realized that it is the only console that will be bringing something new to the table, aside from a faster processor. Maybe I’m in the minority, but at least I know why I’m buying a Wii U and why exclusivity isn’t always a bad thing. Bayonetta 2 will be a good game. They don’t have to worry about multiple ports, they can develop and optimize for this one. There will be more effort(and funding) put into the game and less put into making it run on everything else. That’s certainly not a bad tradeoff. I’d much rather see a good exclusive than a poor cross platform title.

Quick don’t let PsychoJosh hear you talking about why you will only be getting a Wii U or he will use his power of massive ignorance to annoy the shit out of you.

Yeah okay…calling it right now. If Bayonetta doesn’t do the numbers better than the first game, its getting a port.

Not really likely or I should say possible, since Nintendo is fronting the money for development and publishing, hence it is as exclusive as the Gears of War trilogy was for Microsoft.

Only way for another Bayonetta game on a different system would be for it to be a brand new game, not Bayonetta 2.

Money talks. Exclusivity doesn’t mean a thing.

I wouldn’t be surpised if Bayonetta 2 stays exclusive even if it didn’t sell.

I mean Monster Hunster tri is exclusive for the Wii for example…that’s a capcom game.

Ok so money talks then.
Scenario for you-
Bayonetta 2 comes out and sells really bad. So where do they magically get this money that they would need to make a whole new game to put out on the xbox/ps.

I know you are not going to say micro or sony because they did not offer to put the money up for the second game as far as we know.

So then I ask again where is this money that talks supposed to come from.

Even in the case where the game sells well the game still won’t be ported, but a new game may be made for all consoles.

So no it won’t be ported.

I have to spend 400 usd just to play one game or miss out on one of the most stylish action games in the history of gaming.

ladies and gentlemen… for fuck’s sake.:bluu:

You do realize Sega is the franchise owner right? Guarantee they’ll pull something together to get it on other consoles for others to enjoy.

Can you produce this proof that Sega owns the Bayonetta franchise please.

Tada, first hit on google.

Like they pulled together to make Bayonetta 2 happen right?

I thought another company did that…
