Psssst…You do realize that Platinum holds the right to Bayonetta and pretty much everything they’ve made so far save MGS Rising Revengeance? Sega’s name is nowhere to be found for Bayonetta 2.
Edit:
Oh wow…I’m wrong here. Sega’s name WAS in the trailer.
I thought that Infinite Space may have been included in the 4 IP deal that would have excluded Bayonetta so I went and rechecked the trailer really quick. I admit I’m in the wrong.
Edit:
Since this is the case…if a port is going to happen then it isn’t going to be done with Nintendo’s money so this game and considering Sega’s current financial state I don’t forsee them doing it since they weren’t going to put up the funds to do it in the first place…UNLESS…the game is successful from the start to begin with or Microsoft/Sony foot the money to bring it to their respective systems.
Assuming that person is a fan of Nintendo’s franchises. Outside of Metroid and Donkey Kong Country there’s nothing they have that holds interest for me.
The 4 game deal did include Infinite Space to my knowledge
The original deal was:
Madworld
Infinite Space
Bayonetta
Vanquish
Max Anarchy/Anarchy Reigns was a new stand alone deal made after the original one. but I’m not sure they were as satisfied working with each other on that game as they were with the first 4 considering the difficult development cycle that game has gone through.
It’s a niche japanese action game dude.
It’s coming to Wii-U and it’s more than likely going to stay there.
Rofl.
To be fair Silicon Knights at the time was a Nintendo owned studio, so it’s not exactly the same
but I agree. People still mad TS wasn’t on the HD collection lol.

Well I think that’s one of the strengths of Nintendo’s platforms atleast. You more or less know what you’re getting every time.
I bought a PS3 this gen because the PS2 was my favorite console ever and holy shit did I get burned.
As it stands right now I’m more likely to buy a Wii-U than I am either playstation or xbox successor. Simply because I know what I’m getting on the thing[/FONT]
Wow Sega’s logo on the game has to be the biggest shocker in this entire thread. If Sega is truly the franchise owner a port in the future to other consoles is a given, especially if the sales for the game don’t meet expectations. WiiU is a good console but I’m not going to get it unless I see more titles that peak my interest. Funny thing is that Sega is so broke I wouldn’t be surprised if they sold the franchise in the future.
You would be surprised how many people missed that Sega logo including myself. Now the question is will the WiiU get a port of Bayo 1 in the future if 2 does well? Do a twin snakes type thing with upgrades etc. As far as Bayo 2 ending up on other consoles…it’s a debate no one can really win except for platinum themselves. We don’t really know what the future holds and the nature of the deal via contracts but tbh, I think Bayo can sell well on the WiiU. I’m not sure it will sell as much as the first game that was multiplatform but enough to make a profit. At this point I just want to see gameplay footage…
