Ah ok thanks you all. Having not played the Warriors series, Onimusha, or other games, I’m not that in tune with the Jap Warring Eras and Feudal besides what’s in fighting games and anything I pick up along the way. So the shit won’t hit me as hard.
Now for a real question that I think I already know the answer to: What’s the verdict on Kojuro and the other guy (damn I gotta learn these names) as far as allowance in tournaments and whatnot? What’s been going on in Japan?

On the topic of SBO, I think the game is too new/came out too late to be in SBO. I have a feeling it’ll take HnK’s place for a singles tournament next year.

Lol cool. Bit of GG flavor + hard hits like HnK = I’d play this game even if the scene doesn’t take off as expected. As long as I got 3-4 guys in my community who roll with it I’m good. Just got the game and I’m already waiting for SBXX.
game is mad fun, but the infinites and bugs are mad dumb. right now, i don’t think this game is sbo quality material yet. hopefully they will patch this nicely to fix it up soon, since these problems are the only think holding this potentially excellent game back.
If this game had hard hits like HnK, we wouldn’t have time-over-infinites, we’d just have 100% combos.
Hokuto no Ken is more broken than SBX, but it’s in SBO. :lol: If it’s broken or not isn’t really an issue for SBO… more like if it’s new, exciting, and has a crowd.
And compared to the legion of HnK fans in Japan, the fanbase of SBX is nonexistent. It’d be cool to see at SBO, more than likely won’t happen.
thast really debatible my friend, first not you, not me live in japan so we really dont know more of what is said in some forums, and for what i understand basara has legions of fans (maybe not because the fighting game but still), we will find out until the next year

with oichi you can basically do while in shadow mode in the corner or close to
5c, qcb+a,5a,qcb+a repeat until dead… the timing is the only thing, you have to kind of stagger it so they get stuck on top of the hands your constantly having out one after the other the qcb+a one, the 5a just keeps them at that point so theyre just floating on top of it… does a ton of dmg really fast.
on another note if you get counter hit mode change and then get a counter hit 5a it pretty much dizzies anyone which is instant stair stepper of doom death.

I’m actually able to initiate the “space race” slightly but at 30 hits Honda just falls out. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
It’s mamuuuut so it’s guarenteed to be real, glad to see him messing with this game. You can see in the video the glitch being activated by looking at the gravity, around 31 hits he drops a little and Hanbei eases further into the wall. My guess is you’ll just have to be fast, maybe try and get as many hits in as you can while still low to the ground with the arial attack as well. It’s hard to tell though without being able to play the game…
i dont know if you’ve figured it out by now or others have, but i’ll say this anyway.
the reason why the spirits hit is because you’re pressing A or B to close together, it’s sort of like tekkens ~ inputs if you do that while trying to do the 5A to 5B they will hit, or if you press them together as in A+B they will hit, you have to hit each rep quickly but individully.

i just picked up this game…it’s pretty cool, and i’m digging Nobunaga and the robot guy (kind of like Venom + Sentinel? lawl).
can anyone give me some tips on these two? i’ve just dabbled with them, and i see the soul summons being an integral part of Nobunaga’s gameplan, but what about the robot dude? what’s their BnB combos?
oh yeah, are you guys playing with infinites or without? doesn’t it just devolve to the point of the stupidity that is HnK?
