man, the load times are very long for an arcsys game, like 10 to 12 seconds, still the game is good in a overall
meh… don’t tell me the kenshin- oichi glitch is still there too…
let me try it, (but i dont remember how to activate it )
The Kenshin infinite still works just tested it. The load times are also fine for me. how do you do the Kenshin - Oichi glitch? If someone could explain things to test out I’ll do them right away since I’m playing it at this moment.
use kenshin’s counters to counter oichi’s qcb+B/C shadow hand moves (while she is in shadow mode.) If the glitch is still there after you do the counter, oichi will freeze and be unable to move.
K thanks I’ll do that right now. Also noticed something weird in training mode with a certain Toyotomi combo on Sanada. Dont know if this also happens in the arcade version but I was doing in the corner :snkb: + :snkc:, dash in, stand + :snkb: into :dp: + :snkb: and it connects in the right corner. I tried that same combo on the left side corner and Sanada was able to air tech after the stand :snkb: so the :dp: + :snkb: would whiff. Anyone know if that is a common thing from the arcade version?
All Eddie players are going straight to Oichi, she pretty much has that style of play!
Excuse my extreme ignorance and I apologize if this has been answered before, but after you select a character, you are given two options. What do they mean?
Just tested the glitch from this video that I replicated exactly:

She doesn’t freeze in training/arcade mode as well so I guess they fixed that problem.
Not really sure what they are myself but I just pick the first one it lets you pick.
first one is normal imput
second one is easy input (some moves are assigned to different buttons like cvs2 eo of gamecube)
i can confirm that, its not there, apparently they removed the glitch of nobunaga (that annoying infinite) too
Now I know what the 2 options do when you pick someone. 1 is manual and the other is easy mode specials heh. I tried out the second option and it was doing specials with single button presses for me.
For everyone asking about the Nobunaga infinite, yes it is still in although the launcher is pretty tricky and a little harder to pull off than Kenshin’s.
Its basically a lv. 1-49 assist w/ a soul requirement.
The loop combo that he does on the ground is basically 5A-5B-dash x N. You can also do 2A-2B as well. As soon as it gets to about 30 hits dash and do 5C-assist-dash-2BC. This is going to be a little harder however due to its quick timing for all of it to combo. Also, be aware that there is some pushback involved when you’re on the ground.
Overall, Ive been playing around with Nobunaga the most. He’s pretty soul dependent because that’s where his real combos/damage comes from.
Also, to clarify something for me, your souls leave you after a certain amount of time right? Ive been doing loops in practice mode and souls are randomly leaving me whenever my meter gets low. Im making sure that this is the situation.
I got a very funny combo with Nobunaga and its pretty much logical.
(with one soul and lv. 50-100 assist)
j.C - ad - j.C - (land 5B-5C-dash) x 4 - 236A (2 bullets) - 5D assist - dash 236236C - 5D special assist - j.A - j.B - (j.2C or j.C - 236A - A - A - A)
im talking about the infinite with one single button

Hecatom: I know what you’re talking about now. To clarify, that is not an infinite. Pushback is involved one way or the other. Also, Nobunaga loses his souls and starts attacking him when he’s had them equipped for so long. The notation for it is just 5C - dash x N.
Stupid question, but how do you do that kick with Yukimura in the air? It seems like a C move, but I can’t seem to get it to come out.
Thanks in advance.
you’re talking about the aerial spike, its 2+c in the air after the 2+b+c (aerial atack) (it can be done after a combo if you want)
so its still there?
Yes its still in there.
Also, the combo I posted earlier is in the corner. Just needed to say that before someone got confused and couldnt do it.
I also find it easier to do his infinite as 4C, dash in x N instead of neutral.
tried again and sadly, is still there, so, how do we call this, an almost perfect port from the arcade? (except for the bad quality of the sound and the 2 new chars), btw its really easy to do the pseudo infinite with hideyoshi
thanx for the tip
Can someone post the default arcade layout? Right now default is…
AB
EC
Also, is there any sort of tournament standard concerning these infinites/glitches? Thanks in advance.
