He just needs to be a bit stronger with a better flash kick. Give him a real c.mk.
Make his sweep have an option where you can make it one hit or two hits. Maybe you simply press heavy kick twice to make the second hit come out.
Also give his Flash kick some ability to hit cross ups. Or at least some more upward priority.
Make DF heavy kick come put bit faster.

I agree, no new moves. Fix Flash kick priority, maybe speed HP Sonic Boom up a bit. Make his j.MK angle down like in ST. In fact, fix most of his normals. How about air sick kick as an OH like in HDR? Make f.HP do good damage on CH.

if that last one is asking too much, then all you really have to do is fix that worthless Guile high kick’s AA properties and make it juggle with any flashkick, either that or at least let the EX FK land completely. Absolute waste of meter as it is now.

At the risk of sounding like a total noob I think his ultra and super are too difficult compared to other characters.
Weird idea I had. Change Guile’s sweep to 1 hit and make c.mk c.hk a target combo. This would give a mixup off his target combos between a sweep and an overhead. Not very damaging but it would be another thing the opponent has to think about.

If the target combo is done right, there’s really no need for mixup, seeing as how it combos…
Guile doesn’t need any more specials. He’s got on that goes horizontal, and one that goes vertical. What else do you need?

More damage on his projectiles, for sure. He’s got the lowest projectile damage which is sad seeing that his projectile is such an importance to his moveset.
Guile needs stronger Ultra.
3 things Capcom NEEDS to fix with Guile:

Fix FK. Make it arc around and behind his head and way more invincibility frames.

More ways to land Ultra so Guile has much more comeback potential (which he has like literally none right now).

Make sonic boom do more damage, have EX knockdown, and have them all recover at the same rate (it wasn’t broken before, why change it now).
Fixing all of the above would not make Guile the best character, but he’d be way more viable than he is now.
Other stuff that they should definitely take a look at (not everything, just off the top of my head):

More damage. His moves literally do like 10 - 15% less damage across the board than most of the top tier characters.

More range. He’s a character who’s design is built on being defensive and zoning, but when his range is average, it makes it way harder.

Fixing bazooka knee (back + s.lk). That thing has way too much recovery. You’re on a huge disadvantage ON HIT (-6).

Is Guile the only character who can be punished in between his/her target combo? Cause if so, that’s BS. I lost a match in a tournament cause a Sagat mashed out a TU in between the target combo after he blocked the cr.mk, then he FADC’ed Ultra.
