I don’t know if i think capcom is that dumb? LESS damage on EX boom?!?! Like it was so overpowered doing 100 damage? Only one hit? How the hell is that worth a bar? How much have his normals been buffed to make up for that? Maybe they gave him some ryu links or made all his links a target combo???

so basically, he would be the exact same against most opponents… but will now be at a bigger disadvantage against the top tiers… yep, sounds like Capcoms way of thinking… :lol:

erm, only in comparison to ibuki, dudley and sagat lol. did you see the damage from full super/full ultra meter at the end? it must have been close to 80-85%

Think the whole super>ultra followup is a bit overrated. Sure it did a lot of damage but thing is you gotta save a super in order to land it and be half beaten up too, meaning neglecting her all important EX moves and FADCing as necessary.
I see this matchup probably like a gief matchup where you have to keep away and zone your ass off, difference is, gief actually has ways around fireballs beside FAing and jumping - with his green hand, makoto doesn’t really have anything to get around fireballs, I think she’ll have a harder time closing in (unless of course hayate has armour then we’d be screwed), not to mention that she’s less tankier than gief.
Another thing I just noticed which is really fucked up.
Her EX SRK move can be comboed into, more specifically, a dash punch which in turn is Super/Ultra cancel-able. So SRK FADC into Ultra with the FADC part removed!!! Mighty damage at that.
