I didn’t watch NEC but a 10v10 on 3SO sounds pretty bad I don’t know why anyone would want to play 3SO as if it was a serious tournament version of 3s as for complaining I was born a hater and I’ll die one chugs some h8teraid.

You’re an idiot. Do you like making comments about things you obviously don’t read? Because I’m pretty sure people were complaining about 3soe for it’s poor match-making, sound cutting off randomly, games freezing, sound rollbacks, ect ect. Offline the game is closer to arcade than PS2, excluding the terrible distorted HIGH DEFINITION sound effects, meter and life bars… You also have to remember that a new gen console version of the game also makes it easier to stream and or record.
i wish seth killian, derek neal, or any other random minkus that works at capcom would just come out and say, “there wont be anymore updates for 3soe. we fucked up, but we dont care, so fuck you.”

This forum used to be about 3s, talking about the game, for example stuff like the NEC tournament.
But now its full of very bitter people, who LOVE complaining!
I’m sorry you all so salty about 3sOE not being the perfect game you were hoping for, but offline it is absolutely FINE! online is bad yes, but lets just move on and play karnov!

It’s true, and I’ll admit the scene’s partly to blame. Ultimately though, Capcom’s not solving any of these problems.

The thing is offline is NOT fine not only are there strange cosmetic issues there is the EX problem also I can’t confirm this but I feel like certain hit confirms seem harder.

I was on board until I read this. That game was its own thing AND they put the original in. The HDR portion was VERY well done. In fact Daigo was quoted as saying it would do great as a Japanese arcade.
Not that this has anything to do with 3SO HDR does not have arcade ST (which in my opinion is why it failed as a tournament game).
The main goal wasn’t to have ST. From what I understand that’s a bonus feature. The idea was a new version of the game.
The DC version with the HD backgrounds is what we got as a bonus. Originally the intent was to port arcade ST with updated graphics.
Just because you do something well doesn’t mean that is what the players want.
See that’s probably my bad because from what I saw it looked like they wanted a SF2 rebalance with new graphics. I like the new graphics and music a lot (but that stuff is subjective).
