Maybe his hands are just too small to hold a 300 pound controller, or there are not enough animal people in the game for his liking.
It all boils down to the “how much execution is too much execution?” That’s a whole different can of worms. Personally? 1 frame links aren’t a dealbreaker but they shouldn’t be in games. In the case of SF4, its patched to death. Maybe ask when SF5 is about to come out?
Really, 1f links arent that hard. I can do plenty of them consistently and I’m not that good at all. Below average at best. They’re easier than teching throws in a ken match to me
So to all the nay-sayers, would the game be even better if, hypothetically, plinking was patched out?

The only reason I think there should be less of an emphasis on 1f links IN FUTURE TITLES is because of how input lag can mess up your gameplay. This is a very common problem if you play on different setups all the time.
Other than that I think scrubs should just suck it up and L2P. Everytime I read the first post in this thread I become physically ill.
Look, it’s REALLY FUCKING SIMPLE:
Two of the main aspects of fighting games are execution and strategy. Some players’ strength are in their execution, others in strategy. Many players have decent execution and strategy, while the top players excel in both categories. Moreover, some people just prefer one aspect over the other. This is completely natural and not surprising in the least.
So if you feel that the game is too hard to play at an executional level, or that the game requires more thought than you’d like then PLAY A DIFFERENT FUCKING GAME. Find one that appeals to your senses, but FFS stop bitching about your weaknesses or trying to convince everyone else that your taste in FGs is the best. Noone here cares.
I’m sick of reading thread after thread about Dumb Fucking Scrubs™ complaining that SF is too slow and boring or that anime games are mindless and require little thought.
If you don’t like the fact that not everyone has the same taste in things that you do, you are more than welcome to STFU.
