Man, I hope Capcom can turn it around in time, but if not and they go bankrupt…well, then maybe Street Fighter would wound up getting bought by SNK, and Inafune would get Megaman back or something.
And Hendrix and Cobain rise from the grave and sing a medley in front of the world who decided to stop war and cloth/feed/educate the poor in order to explore space and psychedelic drugs together.
Anything is possible, look what happened to Mortal Kombat.
You mean Capcom’s attempt to cash in on NamcoBandai’s upcoming release Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle? I call em like I see em and that was a failed attempt to ride the JJBAASB announcement.
Skimming the thread…
In terms of SfxT tanking. Half the allure of seeing a Street Fighter/Tekken crossover game was seeing Tekken characters as 2d hand-drawn sprites. When Capcom starting making all their fighters with 3d models the game lost it’s novelty a little; especially when the Tekken characters were rendered better in their native game.
I’m speaking as a ‘hardcore’ though so my opinion is probably irrelevant.

Insightful article about Capcom’s recent bad decisions. I really don’t see them lasting much longer with this recent track record of theirs. I only hope that they manage to sell their IPs before they completely tank.
unless they merge with other company like konami, or Namco Bandai
I remember when I used to have a sub to PSM back when the PS2 was barely a year old… and every back cover had either Dino Crisis, Onimusha or another Capcom game on it. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Either Capcom was still swimming in money and just threw all that marketing money like walk up Sonic Booms or this is probably when the arrogant wheels started to drive them to their predicament today…
They should totally merge with Konami!!! Itd maybe make for an amazing fighting game.
“Tsujimoto has earned a reputation as a skillful executive who never gives up when facing adversity, always remaining focused on achieving his final objective. With a framework that separates the roles of overseeing management and business operations, Capcom is capable of conducting business activities with speed and agility.”
Is this why they are so stubborn?
if they make capcom vs Konami, and have Ryu fight simon belmont id shit my self
That won’t be the only shitting that would go on, considering the state of both companies right now…
I dont think Konami could ever go out of business like capcom, Konami does more then just video games
Well I hope the Phoenix Wright series doesn’t get thrown under a rock. Its upsetting that they still haven’t released the second miles edgeworth game over to NA.
Bamcocom?
well companies merging is not anything new it could happen
and i remember the times when everybody here was on capcoms nutts, everybody and i mean everybody. how come when i was saying fuck capcom for that bs dlc on fucking outfits that should have been free, everybod was on their dicks. it was abvious what road they would travel, yet everybody still on their nutts.
now since a couple years people have started to bitch and moan about shit that they should have bitched and moaned about. its partly all you guys fault capcom became like this, everybody in here that buys worthless shit like outfits and other bs dlc is at fault, and im pretty sure thats the majority of srk.
stop treating capcom like saints, they want to fuck you over as good as possible, giving you as little as possible for as much money as possible. but when the consumers are a bunch of retards with pics and gifs of; “im throwinng money at the screen”, wtf did you guys expect them to do?
if you were ever lucky enough to find a retarded kid that gave you money for simple bs, you would visit that kid as often as possible as well just to see how much you could nickle and dime them. in other words, stop being a fucking handicap. the only handicaps i respect are those that are true to it, you wannabe handicaps can eat a dick.
Inafune was the one that canceled those Megaman games.
“There was a time where Capcom wanted to just work on megaman games not giving new IPs a chance.” -Inafune
