hey man some people like items in their fighting games, just because you like it, doesn’t mean its wrong or bad. I don’t blame you. Make games fun.
and isn’t there 4 right now…and counting. Steve, Kazuya, toro, xiaoyu. you missed one man!

I disagree to an extent, infinites ruins the games depending how easy are they to perform, and a lot of “infintes” require to many variables to perform, patches didn’t exist in that time ;), i would like to see less people using this as an excuse, of course you must use it in your favor because is the fault of the devs and you must fight fire with fire, but is not excuse to leave the game like this, i bet that if you find infinites in other games a lot of you people would say “shit game” x100.
If they decide to fix them, good, if not, deal with it.
SF4 had 19 characters.
SFxT has 38 (43 for PS3).
So yeah, SFxT is really unfinished!!!11
The majority likes the game. Most of them said, it’s the best Capcom game ever.
actually
abels worked on 3 characters i blive it may have changed in versions but it was defo chun, seth and sombody else
chun’s infinie work on abel and rufus , the actually loop could be done up to 4 times on large characters for no reason though,
chun also had a spinning bird kick infinite
elf has rsf
fei long had a regular chicken wing combo on seth and juri
except its not a infinite, gems have a timmer , when they run out stops working=not a infinite
38 characters with a shitload full of bugs and timeouts. You know what recycled sprites are too right? And what do you know…another infinite just popped out from the friendly dot eating Pac-Man. yayy more infinites

lol don’t even try with this shit. abel never had an infinite against seth… only vs chun and rufus. source: abel player since vanilla
chun’s true infinite only works vs fei and abel and is completely unpractical. spinning bird infinite only vs dhalsim.
elf RSF is not an infinite.
fei long chicken wing loops got patched out of vanilla and super less than a month after the game came out. you could replace roundhouse chickenwing with EX at first but i’m pretty sure they eventually took that out as well.
Half of them are the Tekken characters (they are new to the 2D engine).
Shitload of bugs? Really? People seem to forget how SF4 and MvC3 were in the beginning. Glitches and Bugs are nothing new when a new game comes out. People act like the game is unplayable. I don’t get it.
What was your favorite fighting game in history? I can almost guarantee that the game had at least 1 infinite that was easy to perform. Even the games that came out since patches been around, those are a large part of the majority of what needs to be patched. The only people who use infinites as a reason this games, other games, or any game, are the ones just trying to find a reason to hate on it. Because anyone whos been around for long knows it doesnt make or break the game. ALL SF games, all MvC games, all MK games, SNK games, and contrary to what people claim even all Tekken games have/had infinites. And it didnt ruin those games…
Be honest, in a game where half the cast is basically a “new character” (they were from Tekken but never been used in an engine similar to this) with a new style of combo system… that does not have hit stun deterioration, are you really surprised that there is infinites? Common sense theres going to be issues that pop up that need to be fixed.
And noone said they are going to leave the game like this… do you honestly believe that they are going to release patches (which has already been confirmed) and going to leave infinites in? lol…
This site here is for Capcom fighting games. The main games it used to play only had ports worthwhile ports on different systems (Dreamcast and PS2) and those were really hard to find at times. The games that would come out related to SF were a lot of times printed in short supplies so that random people could buy them before you get to them. I still don’t have a copy of CvS2 or SF Alpha Anthology because one of you cocksuckers.
…You are so awesome.
This game is playable…all you need to do is gain a life advantage and run away. This game’s basic idea is good, but it’s hella rushed. People denying this fact is delusional.
And claiming tekken characters being new to the 2d engine is a point? Are you saying Capcom is ass at making new characters. Because that’s what it is except Namco gave them ideas for what moves to use and what they look like. So they save even more time.
well excuse me for getting it wrong with seth , tbh I didnt remeber
the sbk one worked on sim, vega, blanka, and guile , the legs one the only thing thats impratical is the sate you need to hit the opponent in , the actual loop is very doable ,its certianly no harder than the xiayou one :source; chun player since vanilla
and yer they took the chicken wing one out , not my point though, how long has this game been out? people are acting like infinites have ruined the game
I wasn’t arguing their viability I was saying that game had its share of infinites aswell
Edit:people only thought it worked on sim because he was the easiest character to do it on
And I for one couldn’t agree with you more we are in a midst of another Golden Age for fighting games. And thanks to technology a game of this mangitude is going to make tournaments, and casual play at venues worth more the experience of enjoying the FGC. A game where everyone can play and practice together to me is just a great idea. This game is going to do nothing but get bigger and better especially once we get more characters involved I.e Guy, Lars, etc and patch work done. @ Neclord -Haters will always be haters and have something to say to piss on others good time, fuck them and do you can’t focus on them. Good thread! And enjoy the game.
ITT: If you like the game you’re a fan boy, if you don’t like the game you’re cool; infinites and bugs and glitches are the death of the game, yet we love MvC2 and older buggy games that can’t be patched
omg…this thread…once was praising the game soon(and enviably) brought the hate…facepalm
DLC pricing was just announced so…without a doubt people are going to bitch and moan, w/e for those who do…you can die in a fire quietly please. I’m perfectly fine with the game as is, people are talking about infinities and junk and tbh…I don’t care…“but but your saying that people you haven’t experinced it” no i have and i don’t care…its not enough to stop me from liking this game. you know what would though? Capcom stop supporting it…thats right people…If Capcom stopped supporting this game, what would I have to look forward to? why should I be interested in a game apparently no one cares about and the company that developed stopped giving a hoot about it…why should I care? well of course i still love games no one plays anymore either insert SNK fighter here but thats just me.
In truth, Capcom does support this game and so does the majority of the FGC so as long as that is true then I have something to look forward to…seeing this game in tournaments, seeing this game get patches, seeing this game get new content, all of these things would not be possible if those two did not support the game. SRK is living, breathing poof of this, D3V has posted a article awhile ago about the vocal minority and this is a classic case of it in effect.
quote this, like this, whatever…if you read it to the end, it interested you slightly so…bleh~
Yes, everybody knows that “the masses” are always right! How dare anyone disagree and voice their opinion about a truly subpar product. Madness!
I’ll gladly go die in a fire if I can take 500 people who bought the game with me.
A large % of the time people present their opinions as a fact…once people stop doing this, people like me will stop stating the obvious o_O fair?
Would ‘stopping support’ be like if they decided to not sell us the activation of the locked content already on the disc?
considering that this information was never suppose to see the light of day in the first place o_O but i don’t think as that to be the case since they had intended to eventually release it on their own schedule. however if that was the case, I wouldn’t be surprised…if this was a personal question then all i can give you is a maybe as still like the game in its current state, however if it was for the community as a whole, i think its a problem(abet a big problem).
Depends. They’re pushing the release of these characters until fall after Vita release. Feels like $ony paid them off big time for exclusives. Perhaps SFxT was originally intended to come out with more than what we have no or not…
Mass Effect 3 has on-disc DLC. It’s supposed to be quite an integral part of the main campaign story line. DLC is supposed to be optional but some hackers traced the DLC campaign back to where it may have been supposed to be included with the original campaign. So they probably cut that out to sell purposely? Who knows.
Anyway, the characters were definitely planned out for release. We saw Cody and Guy early on in some trailers but not the rest of the DLC characters. Not one hint of it. Perhaps they Cody and Guy should’ve been with the initial release? $20 for 12 characters isn’t bad at all. As of this moment, the price of SFxT is probably still the best bang for buck compared to how much consumers paid for MVC3 to UMVC3 and SF4 to AE.
MVC3 $60 - 36 initial characters
UMVC3 $40 - 12 new characters, 4 more stages?
SF4 $60 - 25 initial characters for console
SSF4 $40 - 10 new characters, 4 more stages
AE $15 - 4 new characters
Arcade - $0.50 to $1 per game
SFxT $60
SFxT DLC Chars $20 - 12 new characters
** Does not include any costume costs.
