Kinda telling with that reaction then, in perhaps, the right player truly won.
Bring on Los Angeles & San Francisco!!

Much respect to him regardless, after double down the semi-insults in this post or other people’s posts. More of a chance to share “SALTIDOS!” with the world, though.
lol i respected Ricky after the finals for being so strong too, i rather play Justin than him honestly but then i went up to him afterwards and was like “yoo good shit, that was a good game” and he’s like “i guess…” then he walks away, turns back to me and says “it wouldve been different if i actually played” and im like “uuh okayyy lol”
i find that really disrespectful to every other player out there who actually worked hard to place as high as they did or even simply come up against him and give him a fight like Denjizz (ALMOST fuckin had him) or Ahmed, the way i see it is if you’re gonna join a HUGE 3s tournament then come up with an excuse and say i dont play anymore AFTER you lose, then might as well as not play at all, everyone and their mother knows this isnt that kind of game and this is 2012!! that fool literally tried to chip 3 ppl including myself with raw super and we ALLLL parried that shit lol like really??? but idk it could’ve just been pure saltiness but damn at least give it up -___-
Ricky and JWong are trademarks of a thing called “pro players” that US created: playing a game just for $$$, not because they love the game. These e-sports type players are totally not good for the future of FGC.
Next two weeks will be the Asian Final. Here’re the final 4 players, only 1 will get ticket to San Francisco:
I don’t understand why people say shit like this. What a dick man, I didn’t have much respect for him anyway, but I really don’t respect him now. I hate people who say shit to try and belittle someones hard work.
I did my best to understand it from his point of view but no matter whatever way i look at it, it still wasn’t right… like ok you dont play anymore, why are you gonna be so salty about it?? like you’re one of the best players in the country already, you’re sponsored, you already qualified for another game you actually play, like what more do you want lol
i know what its like to have someone come back from losers and beat me in grand finals too so i can understand that but at least i took that loss to my chest and let it sink in, i dont have time to say “I DONT PLAY ANYMORE” -____-
yeah you can ask Ahmed, or Adam…He even went up to them and was like you guys played Chun?? :wtf: making it seem like it was a bad thing then they called him out on it and were saying he plays chun too and then he comes out with the same thing “oh but i dont play anymore…” according to them he said somethin somethin somethin…free so you can only imagine what he said
Lotta Yang these days… need more RYU :woot:
Yang could be a Korean name if a Chinese immigrant living in Korea maybe?
I trust your information is correct, as it usually is on players and namesyou report to us, I am just turning it around for a joke.
General Thread old man players still on SRK, they enjoyed the handicam with high quality match and reaction. Its not usually like that anymore at tournaments, and a truthful rundown of the experience, both good and lots of bad, another player wrote about the Qualifier event in there.
I was gonna tell em the guy in the button up to the top classy flannel nice shirt is HOLD DAT. Keep it classy.
But yeah, lets get some mutual respect Ricky-O. Don’t come thru LA and say, nah I still don’t practice. 2 months of practice left. “Shoulda woulda coulda” No sponsor lookin out to pay attention to the scene, NYC & East Coast still strong if you didn’t know. Unprepared-ness, who’s fault is that? Can’t be discrediting other players hard work and holding on to “I used to be real good.”
Ricky was obviously salty, but there is a reason he is so cocky. If he qualifies in the LA tournament, and actually practices the game, I could see him and Justin in grand finals easy. The reason they dominate so many games is because they have a ridiculous amount of natural talent.
You guys are gonna have to counter their talent and top tier characters will 3s experience, but its not gonna be easy. They are sponsored players, so they have mad pressure to win, and can just practice 24/7.
He’s not going to qualify in the LA tournament, Justin and Ricky can barely, maybe not even beat, Pyro and Yi and they are for sure going to that tournament…and even if he did qualify i would never let Justin and Ricky get to grand finals “easy” cuz there’s no such thing as “easy” in the 3s world as everyone and their mother knows lol
it’s a fact that True top 3s players>>>>> top players who don’t play 3s anymore
i’m sure he was just frustrated that he lost to someone who probably in his mind is just a random player.
because you’re more of a newgen player (certainly compared to him) nica and aren’t that widely known outside EC/NYC.
as for gootecks. jwanggnggng said he was sort of surprised to see gootecks watch all the 3S instead of peacing or doing something else if im remembering right.
