Congrats to you Nica it was obvious you were under twice the pressure which Ricky was. One of the reasons being that you are defending us 3s players pride and not to mention that Ricky has a lot more tournament experience but you still held it down like a boss.
Lloyd, the EG guys will always go away saying they don’t care and don’t play the game anymore. But Ricky was ridiculously nervous. You could see him shaking and after you won a few key rounds, you made him afraid to play really solid again. He really cared and was trying his hardest to win. There was a lot to play for and both players knew it and you overcame to take it. You played great, so don’t let anyone minimize your achievement.

heard them talk a couple times about OE dropping kara grab inputs. haven’t heard anything about that before now. is that actually a thing? I knew there was discussion of whether it drops EX (and no one seems able to reproduce it) but this is first I’ve heard about kara grabs.
If it drops EX, it makes sense for it to drop kara grab inputs imo
No one seems able to reproduce it because it doesn’t drop ex moves. Everybody stopped complaining when Ryan mentioned that he didn’t have the problem. Kara grabbing is a more specific issue because it requires precision button timing, the timing is different with every version of the game. (i.e) PS2 faster, 3SOE slower, arcade even slower. Also have to take into consideration that the tv’s aren’t CRT, they are hooked up to a streaming device and sticks are plugged into some external headphone usb hub fucking device that I barely understand.
