Speaking of people coming to Calgary, how many of you out of town folks are looking to book a hotel? I’ve got a sales guy on the hook for rooms for $109 / night at The Best Western a few blocks from the venue, and if I can get an idea of attendance we’ll do what we did with The Canada Cup and make sure all your rooms get blocked together. As soon as I can ball park numbers I’ll post up the discount code and call in number.
I know a few of us will be coming up from Edmonton. No definitive numbers though.

Alrighty everyone room rates are in place at the Best Western Suites Downtown - Best Western Suites Downtown Hotel - Calgary, Alberta Hotel Accommodations
You can book by phone at 403-228-6900. The name the group rate is under is Canada Cup Gaming and you will require proof of pre-registration to book the rooms. I know this is a little bit different from The Canada Cup, but they require it since we’re not hosting the event at the hotel.
The rate is $109/night + tax for both single and double occupancy rooms and the room rate is in effect up to March 18th. The rooms are subject to availability, so it’s in your best interest to pre-register and book early if you’re coming in from out of town.
